How to get the "fin" off
I want to make a clone commando but I don't know how to get the "fin" part of the helmet off the clone. Any ideas?

back on topic, Exacto knife... That's what I used back in the day (before casting). Do not get too close though, Leave a little extra and get some SUPER fine sand paper to sand down flat to match the rest of the head. I use 400 grade. Smoother the better

Exacto knife? And what is 400 grade? Man I should really touch up on my modder vocabulary.

Simply use nail clippers and sand it.

Or using just sandpaper works. If you don't have a steady hand.

Exacto Knife/Blade

Sand Paper

400 grade is just the number on the back (Higher the number finer the sand paper, Lower the number the more coarse it is; bigger chunks)

I use sandpaper, and it works.

Re: How to get the "fin" off
I have an electric sander with a pen-shaped sandpaper point at the end that spins around really fast. It takes the fin off really well, I then put some gloss over the top to get rid of the roughness. That's what I did for my Boss.

I use a large knife to cut of the majority of the fin, then use 300 grade sandpaper. It works brilliantly!
