CABG Interview 5 - Zepher
Once again, it's this time of the week (OK so I don't stick to specific times but whatever).
With me here today is the hilarious Zepher, best known for his/her comics.
Let's get started:
1. How did you come to join CABG?
CC-007 sent me a link over at the old CCP (May it rest in peace) but for some reason or another I didn’t join right away. In the end, Aridar talked about it in school and the Clone Commander contest, so I came on over.
2. How/why did you pick the name Zepher?
It’s a cool name. He’s the Greek good of the west wind. You may note that I enjoy Greek Myths…
3. What brought you into building LEGO? How long have you been doing it?
For my first grade birthday one of my friends bought me three sets which included # 5921 Research Glider ( http://www.bricklink.com/catalogItemPic.asp?S=5921-1 ) # 5914 Sam Sanister and Baby T ( http://www.bricklink.com/catalogItemPic.asp?S=5914-1 ) and # that red car that’s in my Post-Apoc moc (look it up). I’ve been into it since (NO DARK AGES!)
4. What's your favourite LEGO theme? Favourite set?
I can’t really pick my favorite theme. I know I should be saying “Star Wars” but I like quite a few themes. I think that Exo-Force is a really great and outgoing theme for lego, and I look forward to the Agents theme, really, really, really, looking forward to that…
My favorite set on the other hand is easy. The new MTT wins the gold for me. Two security droids, 16 regular droids, 2 pilots droids, a Destroyer Droid ( I use their formal name, so what). The set was had lots of pieces, lots of troops, was low priced for it’s amount, and best of all, was the most fun set I have ever built. It by far beats out any other set for design or use, or cool little extras. Best set ever.
5. If you could pick 3 sets for TLC to make from any theme, what would they be?
That’s a really tough one, partially because I’ve never thought of it before, and partially because now that I have, I’d like to see lots of sets. Here’s something I’d really like TLC to do however. I’d like an ending MOC to each series. TLC always makes a storyline for their lines. I’d like to see a set where it all ends. Like a super set. It would have lots of troops, all the main characters, and a giant clash. It would have to be the biggest set, and most expensive, but if they pulled it off, they could really make some profit, and everyone would win. I’d also like to see a McDonald’s line.
6. Why did you start making your comics and other CABG MOCs?
I was originally going to do a MOC about something and then turned it into a comic. It sorta took off from there. I think they’re important because they support community on the site.
7. What is your favourite MOC that you have made?
I love the Guddiotroph. It’s to cute and cool looking, and I think I really presented it well. I also like my soon to be released cave racer, and I think I did well on my soon to be released “set” for GAW’s build a Star Wars set contest!
8. What MOC do you hope to make sometime in the future?
I’m working on a second Post-Apoc one, need white cheese slopes and more tiles. I also might take on a “The Day after Tomorrow” MOC. If you haven’t watched the movie plug your ears and start making lalalalalala noises. You know that scene where their over the mall, and they fall through. Yah, that’s the one I want to make. You can un-cover your ears now. HEY! YOU! YOU CAN UN-COVER YOUR EARS NOW!
9. What's your favourite MOC made by someone else?
Anything by Keith Goldman. No, but he really is good. I can’t pick a favorite, but I do really like Mark Kelso, Keith Goldman, Shannon Young, Sir Nadroj, Nannan Z., and Lee Jones. And of course our very own Rook.
10. Who do you think should be interviewed next?
I’d love to see Aridar put on the spot, or the big cheese himself, CC-007. (Seriously, where does that guy go? He starts a site, then quits going to it!)
11. Anything else you want to say?
Yes.
Well, there you have it. I'll see you next time (whenever that may be).

Nice, I as well like Exo-Force, and am greatly anticipating Agents as well. Zepher reminds me of the great Zephyrs of the Burlington Route Railroad, and the Califoria Zephyr, they were chrome plated, elegant, trains that ran in the Golden age of Railroading, from the late 40s-60s, they really were amazing!
