After Member Sialboats joined Cabg (Or "TheCABG" if you plese) has been attacked with all sorts of Comics. I thought I'd take some time to introduce you to some of them. The thing is, there are so many stories it's hard to keep track of them all. There's something for everyone. Trust me, they all have thier Epic moments, so let's get started!

The 541st Chronicles

From acclaimed Director and GIMP expert Sialboats comes a classic story of the battles of Arkania, the Ice Planet. Staring Ied, Turkai, and now introducing Meehan.

Come on, join the action!

(Newest episode can be found at: http://cabg.forumotion.com/clone-army-creations-f4/541st-chronicles-13-from-green-to-grumpy-t1967.htm )

The 313th's Clone Wars

Next up is my very own comic, the 313th's Clone Wars. The rpomo Arc has been kicked off, and we're gearing up to what promises to be an epic battle.

The first issue can be found here: http://cabg.forumotion.com/clone-army-creations-f4/episode-13-the-crisis-t1973.htm

The Alzoc III Arc

Memebr Alpha takes us to another snowy planet, Alzoc III. Here we run into many CIS and the best known clone here on CABG, Viper (Really, Alfie's retold his story so many times...)

Issue 2 can be found here: http://cabg.forumotion.com/clone-army-creations-f4/alzoc-iii-betrayal-t1959.htm

The 95th Journals

Told by another GIMP master T-B, these comics tell of the 95th's battles. We see something here that we rarely see in other comics, the CIS win from time to time.

Issue 4: http://www.thecabg.net/clone-army-creations-f4/the-95th-journal-entry-4-retreat-t1698.htm

222nd Legion Chronicles

Made by site founder CC-007, these comics are rarely produced but always top-notch.

Issue 3 here: http://cabg.forumotion.com/clone-army-creations-f4/222nd-legion-chronicles-airborne-flash-t1736.htm?highlight=chronicles

The Somewhat Daily Chronicles Comic

Tired of all the Clones and Wars? Kick back and relax with my comedy comics!

Found in this topic, new release every few days! http://cabg.forumotion.com/comic-creations-f16/somewhat-daily-comic-t1332.htm

Well, as you can see, CABG has something for everyone! Lots of comics, lots of stories. You should really try to make a point of becoming a faithful fan of one or two. That's what comics are really abou, great stories that people REALLY follow!

Okay, lots to report, lots of good things going down! I'm your host Zeph with all your Movie, and Show related News!

First off, "The CABG Christmas Special" hosted by CC-007 and filmed by Zepher is being released some time over the weekend, so keep youur eyes peeled!

Secondly, famous movie producor Garet6, in partnership with myself ans Wuzzup, has started filming Agatean Nights! And I can tell you it is fantastic so far!

And to celebrate the film adaption, I am going to release, for the first time ever, right here, right now Agatean Nights II. With 25 slots, it will start sign-up in late Janurary! Get those spots while they last! It will be even more complicated and confusing then the first (suck it up CC-007 Razz )

Possibly even better, CABG News will be making a comeback in Janurary. Bly Faie and I will get back into the interviews (Right guys? I've talked to Bly about it at least, I'll be in contact Faie!)

And Maggosh's contest also holds this same idea. Enter a 30 second movie, and enjoy a nice victory!

Well, that's all for now! Hope everyone is as excited with on-goings as I am. Happy Holdiays!

Greetings, builders of the CABG!

I'm Clonecommando007 reporting with a special January Contest report!

OH NO! Contest sponsored by Wuzzupbob has started!

Our member Wuzzupbob (Founder of Clone Army Customs) is running the January Contest! Quick description:
You will be building either a Vignette and/or a Bignette showing The worst scenario for a clone trooper to be in. Use your imagination and your building skills to show a scenario would yell, either out loud or in his head, "OH NO!" What type of scenario you ask? It could be in the middle of a Droid base, being choked by Ventress, landing at the bottom of a Sarlacc stomach, moments before crash landing, or simply being in a room where another trooper passed gas. Whatever the instance, I want you to capture it.

As you have probably guessed, this contest is shaping up to be the best one so far this year! Razz Check out the Full Topic with Contest Rules in the Member Contests forum. You can see all of the Entries so far in the Contest Entry thread. Wuzzupbob has lots of great prizes lined up for several lucky winners! You don't want to miss out!

Please remember that you must be a member of the Guild to view the Member Contests forum. If you want to be part of the Guild, please send me a PM with your application attached. Application guildelines are found in the Frequently Asked Questions forum.

'The Droid Factory' Guild Builded opened by Alpha

Our member Alpha has started The Droid Factory Guild Build in the Member Contests forum. Check out the quick description:
You are to make a Service Droid or Battle Droid, for any faction (eg. Zann Consortium, Techno Union, Trade Federation, Galactic Republic, Rebel Alliance, ect.). Your Service Droid or Battle Droid has to have a special job (Cargo Lifter, Anti Vehicle, Missile Droid, Droid Starfighter, ect.) and a detailed description (Who built it, it's functions, it's weaknesses (If any), ect.). Your Droid can be as big as you want, or as small as you want.

Build just one droid? Sounds easy, doesn't it? Well we've got lots of members who specialize in minifigure customization, so this is shaping up to be quite a challenge. Want to try your luck at this Guild Build? Check out the Dedicated topic with complete rules in the Member Contests forum.

As it is known, the Republic won Shan-Shen. They built thier factory and Noktow flourished into a bustling city.

Then the Republic feel.

Shan-Shen left the Republics only days before it became an Empire. Wise woman Zuki Maru told the leaders of all the countires that it was needed, and they did what they were told. It was her dying wish.

A near-by town, Kujam, sprang up for some of the the facotory workers and thier families. It soon be came a nice town, with a good hotel, where almost all tourists to Shan-Shen stay. Zhang's duaghter, Mellie, came there to be thier wise women, and it is a center for commerce, and politics.

The Shan Dynasty became the Shang Republic, and the Aliens in the north dispersed into the two other countires, while they still have a deciding force called the concioul of Elders.

Many things are happening in Kujam currently. The first is a massive drug smuggler company, run by Lord Chester. The second is that they are awaiting a Rep. from the Shang Republic to tell them to tell the Empire. Most are already agreed, but some need convincing.

It is also known that dark matters are at hand. Very dark matters. Killers lurk the streets at night, hunting.

The people are scared. What will happen. Will the join the Empire? Or has the Empire, unknown to them, already swallowed thier back water but good manufacturing planet?

That's it. Sign up will be up on Thursday!

It will be a glourious day!

Article

I’d like to take a moment here to look back on the year. Just a few (or quite a few) high lights.

These may or may not be in any order…

On the Date of January, 2008, a young man, or old boy, if you prefer, created a site called “Clone Army Builder’s Guild”.

It is now a year later. What’s happened in that time?

For starters we’ve allowed 83 members to join the guild. We’ve held 12 Contests, 9 Guild Builds, 4 Quote Contests, 4 Corps Challenges, 1 All Members Challenge, and one Christmas Exchange.

We’ve collected many famous members. We’ve collected two of the most famous customizers on the web to the site. We’ve collected two of the most famous Lego Movie Makers. We’ve collected quite a few prolific builders, and gotten large enough to pass up dozens of other small lego fansites.

We’ve collected members from USA, Canada, England, The Netherlands, Germany, Spain, Austrailia, New Zealand, Norway, Austria, and many other countries.

We’ve played two Mafia Games, one incomplete and another awesome, that will soon have a movie and Sequel. We're also in the process of starting another game right now!

We’ve had two comic series devoted to this site. We’ve had GIMP introduced, and we’ve had a bunch of cool comics pop up, all with great stories!

We’ve come up with different saying and references. It is only on CABG that you can be “Out Mongoose’d” or share your two credits. (Maybe you can share two credits other place, but the mongoose thing I think is here only…)

We’ve had our own Christmas Special, complete with a cast of several dozen of our finest members.

We’ve had members fade out, have had two resign, and have had two come back, one with an official statement!

We’ve posted over 62250 Posts.

We've started over 2225 Topics.

We've had over 610 people register.

We've built, we've contested, we've discussed, we've had an awesome time, and we’ll do it all over again in 2009!

Happy CABG New Years!

-Zepher (The Eternal “It” of CABG)

Interview with Site Founder Clonecommando007

1. What prompted you to make CABG.

The want for a site that embraced the kind of MOC's and Dioramas that I liked, for a site that was clean of sub-par members clogging up the MOC sections or posing nonsense in the forums, for a site that always had a small community feel with contests and a clean trading forum, for a site with all members interested in the same thing, not with clashing interests or rivalries between groups. These ideas have come together to forum the Clone Army Builders Guild.

2. What was it like to see this site grow?

The statistics on this site continue to make my heart warm, to see that the small site that I started could grow so much was just fantastic. It was a realization of my dream.

3. What do you think are the greatest things to happen to CABG, event-wise.

We have so many great things that we do that I'm not sure if I can rank them.
A few of the best events we’ve had here I think have been:

Agatean Nights, the start of the CABG Mafia Games
The CABG Olympics, a contest involving several hoops which participants had to jump through
The purchasing of a custom domain name
The partnering between Clone Army Customs and the CABG forums

There have been a lot of other great events that we’ve had or things that have happened, but these are possibly the best.

4. What would you like to say to the CABG on it's birthday?

Happy new CABG year! I hope that these forums can continue to prosper and grow as we have through our first year. Thank you to all of the members who have stuck with us through the year, and I hope that all of our new members will stick through the next year with us!
