He expresses his sincere wishes that CC-007 and the rest of the staff don't disown him for frontpaging his own stuff.

Discuss here!

And be on the look out for Revo's challange MOC. This is for a MOC-off. Look for the throw down, and remember to vote. And while we're on the topic of Revo, the final segment of "Talk to the Experts" has been released! Check it out here.

And finally, some contest news. Teeb's replacement contest is underway. And it's hosted by Garet. And it has to do with a super secret movie project! Find out how you can enter here.

And, due to questions, and becuase I think you should know, I'm going to tell you all how to get your stuff Frontpaged!

There are a few ways.

How to be Frontpaged 101

1) Host a contest! We, the Staff, think that all contests should and are frontpaged! So move on down to the Contest area and sign up if you want the spotlight!

2) Don't want to host a contest! Do something really cool for the community! Draw pictures of our admins, make cartoons, make avatars, sigs, whatever! CONTRIUTE! We don't put enough of this up, becuase there's not enough of this out there!

3) Jump on the bandwagon. It may sound like a stupid way to get frontpaged, but if a group of people do something, like for example, Mechs, in a weeks time, they'll all be put up for comparision sake.

4) Build a killer MOC. If you build something that the Staff likes enough to view, and then you have mostly good comments (mostly means only about 3 bad comments, no more) we'll seriously consider frontpaging it!

5) Make a niche. Find where you can build, and build it. If you pump out 4 or 5 awesome robots in a week, chances are they'll see the frontpage!

Staff Editing Posts

Hello and good day everyone.

Recently we added two MODs to our staff ranks primarily because during the summer we have an increase of Newbie activity which requires more eyes and ears on the front lines. Non staff please keep our staff in line too, they’re here to be helpful, serve you, and to tell you when you're being an idiot by not following the rules. Please return the favor, if we’re not following the rules then we can’t exactly expect you to. Razz Ah yes but seriously let's get on with this announcement before I lose you all. Do the limited number of colors for marking errors in posts; Moderators with be posting in GREEN (with their initials/username at the end of the comment) and Administrators with be posting in RED (with their initials/username at the end of the comment)? So if you see RED or GREEN in you posts or in someone else’s please take the time to read it so that you can fix your own mistake or not make the same mistake. Incase you're new here and are just getting started; we are VERY strict around here. This is a Builders Guild. We want builders. Not set assemblers, nor noob speak masters, or anything else that is not actually about being a better builder! So thanks for your time and mind the rules.
