Sith Hideout
And, as promised(well, not really, but I'd like to think I keep them ), the third segment of the built-in-under-two-hours-inside-the-first-week-of-school MOC race! Hoorah!
Now, let me begin by saying that the structure is NOT the highlight. If you like it, thanks! I'm glad of that, but I'll expect a lot of constructive critiscism(maybe not some that are so constructive ) especially from Jake who's always so helpful in such things.
But on to the hideout. It's very simple. There are three walls and a 'cover' for a door, two shelves inside, a portable computer, and a shieldable window. The highlight of the structure is the roof, I think, which I really like. There are six figures here. Two are droids, four are force-users.
One is a protocol droid, B-3PO(lame, I know)(note the realistic golden coloring; it's the same as the one in the Death Star, but I got it last month in the Sandcrawler), the other is an Astromech, R3-B5. Then there are three Dark Jedi who are learning the Dark side of the force from the semi-undead Sith Lord. The names of the Dark Jedi are Kun, Jun, and Run, yes, primitive, but given to them by their Master to represent their trainee status. His name is Darth Kardos. His body was severed in half by a recently redeemed Jedi knight, Galen Marek, but he was able to summon all his force power to lift himself up and live without the lower half of his body. Maw did it, and that's good enough for me. It's all by the Force, these days.
Pictures away:
Here you see where the Dark Jedi store their gear. I believe it was at one point a custom to wear a kama-like device when you are training, and I just liked the concept. I think it adds to the force-user feel.
All the gear set out. There are, in all, three belt-spats, three capes, one hood, and one Galactic Marine helmet and backpack.
Under the 'door'!
Everybody! Everybody!
Not quite... Now there's everybody!
Quick character descriptions: Kun: The leader of the trainees(flight cap) and the most powerful, he carries a violet saber blade and always wears a flight cap with a chinstrap, and torments himselfby tying tight chains around himself to make every movement a painful one, but so that it would increase his Dark force capability. Jun: The wiser(orange hair) and stronger of the trainees, and the most skilled in the Force, Jun wears a brown cloak and hood and carries his old green lightsaber. Run: The youngest(black hair) and(according to Kardos) least skilled, but in reality, he is very skilled in the Force and in many lightsaber styles which he only uses when Kardos is not around. He carries his old blue lightsaber. He sometimes pretends to 'zone out' from Kardos when he teaches them of the Dark side, but is in reality taking in every second of it and is hiding the Dark side in him well. He has often killed his targets which Kardos wanted for interrogation, but claimed they died by other means. He keeps and wears a suit of white Galactic Marine armor he took off the body of a clone trooper several years past. He only cleans the helmet, but he has never told the other trainees why.
Anyway, I look forward to hearing your thoughts!

Re: Sith Hideout
Well, this is nice, I actually really like the roof! However, the roof mounting itself is strange, becasue there's a slope right below it that'll let all the rain in!
If parts are an issue, switch the slopes around, that'll stop the hole and make it look more presentable on the outside.
Why are there technic beams on one wall? If it's to fill te gaps, SNOT another plate intead, as I have nothing against plates being used for walls, and I understand that parts limitations are a problem. The removal SNOTted wall is a nice touch with added playability, so well done there!
Again, the BURP is a necessary evil if you're limited in parts, so fair enough. Maybe SNOT all 4 walls?
Hope that helps.
P.S BURP is Nig Ugly Rock Piece.

OK, thanks for the tip! Yeah, I thought it looked kinda ridiculous. Anyways, I think I can safely replace it with 2 of these:
Maybe with some studless bricks on top, but I'll take that into account and try to take out the technic beams that aren't used to mount the lintel.

Re: Sith Hideout
The structure itself could use some work, it's just a random thing with pieces, but it's not necessarily ugly, but it's not good either. I want an C-3PO!

Yeah, I'm gonna see if I can't make it a little more evenly spaced. I think I'll take out the window as well. I'll keep the idea for the roof but the walls I'll redo.
