Clone decals for my legion

Post by 198th legion on Fri Oct 03, 2008 2:08 am

Well, I have posted this because I am not a guild member and won't be until my other MOC is done, so I figured I might as well post 'em here. If I am breaking any rules, can an admin/mod please tell me?

Standard trooper. Not my favorite, but still...

Heavy trooper. Still ok, still not my favorite...

Now THIS one, this happens to be my absolute favorite. Its not complete, but it will be.
Edit #1... I'm going to add some more, and the last one will be replaced with a camo decal.

This is CC Rheqq. His helmet will be much nicer.

Tacynkad. In Mandalorian, that means light-saber (literally: flaming sword).

This is Udessi. I don't remember, but I think it means calm. Bleh.

May I ask what program you use?

These are good! You must like Mandalorian skulls!

They look nice. I think I like #2 the best. Simple is always better when it comes to any design. The mythosaur skull is cool. I use it for the 5th Legion's Emblem as well. I really liked the republic red and gray combo on number #3. Perhaps use the design of #2 with the gray skull on a red chest plate.

Anyway, just some rambling constructive feedback. I look forward to seeing them on a minifig.

Nice! This has inspired me to make a special ARC who follows everything from his Malodorion (SP?) inheritance.

can anyone tell me how to make custom clones?

Admin - Use capitalization and don't double post. Check in the decals/techniques forum and don't post irrelivant replies in someone else's topic.

I'll have them ready as soon as I get into the guild. No clue why an admin reopened this thread. If you want to see them in use...

Grunts, a medic, and a recon trooper.

A heavy commando, Tracynkad, And Udessi

Not bad!

They are a little messy, but that can be fixed with some some rubbing alcohol (I assume they are sharpies).

The black you added in most of them is good!

Also to clean it up you could use Expo markers or Expo marker remover (comes in a spray bottle). Fordo Yo!

No offense, but those are kind of messy I mean you could hardly see the decals, and the helmets were also messy. Try to clean them up a little bit.
