Hmm...the third one could have been a little better, the fourth wasn't so bad. Keep it up!

What did you use for the effects in the last one? That was pretty nice!

It should, if you get the right drivers for it.

Re: First Stopmotion Test [UBER UPDATE]
The lightsaber special effects took FOREVER!!
I mean I had to GIMP every lightsaber by hand!! I downloaded LS Maker but it doesn't work for me...
Oh and I might make a "real" full-length(meaning 5-10 minutes) movie...

Re: First Stopmotion Test [UBER UPDATE]
Oh the usual Star Wars .
No really, I am going to have it based around my sig-fig, who is a bounty hunter....
So I might do voices and all... maybe we can have a sign-up for voices....
And Maggosh, what program do you use to record voices? (other than a mic)

Re: First Stopmotion Test [UBER UPDATE]
I would recommend Audacity. It can be found at http://audacity.sourceforge.net/

Re: First Stopmotion Test [UBER UPDATE]
I am downloading it now... Thanks!
So do you have a link or a tutorial that I can see so I can learn how to use it?
Or is it really basic and easy to use?

Re: First Stopmotion Test [UBER UPDATE]
It's pretty straight forward, if all you're doing is recording and exporting. Just click the round, red button to start recording and click the tan, square button to stop, then click the green triangle button to play back. Or is that too complicated for you?

Re: First Stopmotion Test [UBER UPDATE]
I still don't get why webcameras are better then digital cameras....
Is it because the pics can be automatically sent into the computer?

No, because web cams have a live feed.

Re: First Stopmotion Test [UBER UPDATE]
Web cams have a live video stream from the camera to the computer, so it is compatible with programs like SMA, MonkeyJam, etc.

Re: First Stopmotion Test [UBER UPDATE]
No wonder I can't use MonkeyJam!!!!
So what other free stopmotion program can I use besides WMM that is compatible to a digital camera?

Re: First Stopmotion Test [UBER UPDATE]
Actually, you CAN use MonkeyJam; it has a feature which allows you to import pictures from a digital camera into the program and export as a .avi.

Re: First Stopmotion Test [UBER UPDATE]
If you do sign-ups don't do it in the Guild area. I want to help! Although my voice sounds like crap through a mic I want to help out!Thunder-blade wrote:Oh the usual Star Wars .

File > Import > Images...
Then just make sure you have your camera hooked up, then import from there.

Re: First Stopmotion Test [UBER UPDATE]
But when I plug in my camera, my Upload software automatically pops up... so do I ignore it?
Re: First Stopmotion Test [UBER UPDATE]
Well, it's your choice. You could either upload the pictures from your camera to your computer and then into MonkeyJam, or you could upload them directly from your camera. You get the same outcome either way.
