I can in a bit, just wait like 30 minutes while I switch to my old one!

Oh ok, excellent! So when we're making Agatean Nights can you sort out all the casting and collecting voice files and stuff?
Re: Squad 42 - Alone in the Dark : The Film
Exactly! I may need some help collecting the files (not quite sure how to do it, but I think I can figure it out.) I'm polishing up the script for part 1 now, I'll
PM (or E-mail, so it can stay in a good format) you the final copy by the end of the week!

Re: Squad 42 - Alone in the Dark : The Film
I would suggest doing the lines by email Zeph.
Just do it like I do it. PM the lines to everybody, have them do their lines in whatever program you want. Then have them email it to you? Gareth as an attachment!

Re: Squad 42 - Alone in the Dark : The Film
That's what I figured. Again, almost done with the script! And you'll all have to audition. It may seem cruel or mean or wierd for an online movie, but I want to see what parts are best for who. Who you want to play with be most of it, but if I deem you very wrong for the part, I'll assign you another. Sorry :*(
Re: Squad 42 - Alone in the Dark : The Film
Nothing wrong with that... I am actually doing that for my movie (sorta)...
It's the smartest thing to do, I mean you want your film to be as good as it possibly can be right?

Re: Squad 42 - Alone in the Dark : The Film
I was smiling from ear to ear after watching that! Amazing! I really liked the hologram and all that! Well done!

Squad 42 V: Alone In The Dark
Garet6 truly has improved his film making skills since his release of the original Squad 42 almost two years ago. In this, his longest brickfilm to date, Gareth truly fails to disappoint. Although it is not the greatest Star Wars brickfilm out there (that title belonging to either SW:TGD or Smeagol's Attack of the Drones), it was thouroughly enjoyable. The space scenes were thouroughly well done, although the camera remained in that same position for every shot. Special f/x are well done, but they are somewhat ruined with set bumps, choppy animation and shifts in focus. And, as always, the high pitched clone troopers were very annowing and blood curling.
Well, maybe not blood curling.
Overall, this was an alright film. But keep in mind, Gareth, you've still got a long way to go if you want to beat Clone Trooper Down or The Exiguous Eschewal!
Oh, and there were some light flickers. Should have mentioned that.
Animation - 7.5
Effects - 7.9
Story - 6.8
Enjoyment - 8.2
Sound - 5.8
Cinematography - 7.8
OVERALL - 7.3

Ah yes, The great Disturbance... one of my favorite Star Wars brickfilms...
That film was the funniest and longest film I have ever seen...

Re: Squad 42 - Alone in the Dark : The Film
Animation (the stop motion that is) was really nice sometimes, and a tad choppy at others (favorite part was when Cody closed the door, that was very nicely sown together, and when he looks at it).
As for Maggosh's comment, I'd say "I'd like to see you do better" but I'm not that sort of Gal, and I'm fairly sure Garet's not that kind of guy. He's a true critic, he see's more than we do, so I'll take his word, but still, I'd of rated it like this:
Animation - 8 (Room to imporve, but some was realy nice)
Effects - 8.4 (Getting very good, but still room for improvment!
Story - 7.8 (higher han usual, but could be even better, keep it up!)
Enjoyment - 9.5 (I was also smiling from ear to ear, real good feeling)
Sound - 7 (Still can't stand the high voices, but they were better than normal)
Cinematography - 8 (Don't realy know what this means. Camera angles? Liked a few, but found some boring)
Over-all: 8.1
Just want some characters from the other members of the squad. Oh, and I've got to skim down the script for AN... a lot...

As far as I'm concerned, you beat that little punk Pizza any and every day!
It was abso-bloody-lutely BRILLIANT! But, they always are .
If I could just reccomend one tiny, little change, it would be your yelling. It's slightly off, if you know what I mean.

You and your LOTR and POTC music. Iseewhatyoudidthar. Good job! This is possibly my favorite of yours so far! Good work with the gunship landing, although it was just a bit shaky. I know what you feel.
Nice work!

Re: Squad 42 - Alone in the Dark : The Film
I just watched it and it is pure AWESOMENESS!!!!!!
I swear, it felt like a real Hollywood movie. Man, if you had spent some more time on it to make it longer.... Jeez... that would be the best movie ever...
My only concern was that I had to amp up the volume to hear the voices and when the fighting started, the sound was blasting!
Other than that, it was awesome
on another note, does anyone know if you can download youtube vids on to a ipod? I want download this!
Ps what does Potc stand for?

Awesome! The CIS general's voice was snazzy, the death of so many Clones was awesome, and the flamethrower and the lights going out were just plain AWESOME!

You take that from Black Hawk Down: Team Sabre, by any chance?
Also, my sole complaint is that the voices are far too low in relation to the sound effects which still are great.
