ZOMG! That starfighter is amazing! I love the Exo-force pannels with their white lines on them; this is looking like the Azure Angel! Amazing work again, Rook!

Azure Angel it is or as close as I can get with the pieces I have.
Re: Azure Angel Delta-7 Jedi Star Fighter
That looks very good and it stays to the original design quite well.

Re: Azure Angel Delta-7 Jedi Star Fighter
Looks Great! However the droid for the Delta-7 and their varients sat in front of the cockpit because that was the only part of the ship that is thick enough to hold a complete droid. Obi-Wan's fighter had the droid in the wing because the droid only had a head and its body components hardwired into the ship. Interestingly in the opening sequences of the first Clone Wars cartoons the Jedi Starfighters inacuratly had the droids in the wings, an accidental oversite on the part of the animators. This was corrected however in Revenge of the Sith (Plo Koons starfighter had the droid in the corrrect place.)

Re: Azure Angel Delta-7 Jedi Star Fighter
Thanks for the info. I was looking at some other pictures after I finished this and saw a redish droid up front and center, so maybe I'll remake this guy some day.
Re: Azure Angel Delta-7 Jedi Star Fighter
I added this as a favorite on flickr a long time ago..............GREAT WORK!

Rook could you post instructions on how to make the Azure Angle, and also what sets did you need to make it? It's really cool!

Once again brilliant! (I might as well cut copy and paste this every time a new moc of yours comes up!) Where did you get all the dark blue pieces from those are rare. (I know when you moved out you took all the legos but dark blue is rare except in some bionicle sets)

Re: Azure Angel Delta-7 Jedi Star Fighter
Hey Rook, yet again GREAT JOB! You're building yourself up to be a sort of legend here! It appears underneath the exoforce blue pieces with white stripes, you have white pieces underneath. Can we possibly see a pictures without the exoforce pieces, and just the white pieces underneath showing? I think it would look great

Alpha Team had that ice line that they had a year back or two. I got one of each.
Re: Azure Angel Delta-7 Jedi Star Fighter

Ideas are free. Art is for sale. Since I would never sell my Legos. I can only give you the ideas. For instructions: Follow the Lego set then modify the front end with engines and attch some fins to back.
Re: Azure Angel Delta-7 Jedi Star Fighter
Unfortunately you are like ME, and won't even part with a 1X1. (although I will occasionally trade for non rare items.) Which means I will have to go to all the work of finding the parts myself...

Re: Azure Angel Delta-7 Jedi Star Fighter
I gave away a brick seperater once, since I had two and he was a young builder without one. I'll buy Lego for other people but give up my own? Maybe when I have kids. Not the SW stuff. That's mine 'til I die.

I won't give up MY own either! What I meant earlier is, you buy the necessary parts for this set off bricklink or whearever for cheap, then come up with some type of instructions, and sell them to us bums at greatly inflated rates.

Re: Azure Angel Delta-7 Jedi Star Fighter
Oooooh, business venture. I'm too busy. Maybe in 30 years when I retire.
Re: Azure Angel Delta-7 Jedi Star Fighter
On the topic of working, I will be able to work in about a week or so. Then my lego creation should advance, as should the quality of my mocs.
Re: Azure Angel Delta-7 Jedi Star Fighter
Don't spend it all on Lego! I spend about 5% of my income on Lego or about 3% of the house hold income. Got to budget!
Re: Azure Angel Delta-7 Jedi Star Fighter
Rook you must have a very good not-in-phonebook-job to only spend that much! Ahh...Well actually, I can see where that comes in. 75,000 x .05 = 3750...But of course I have no idea how much you make.

Re: Azure Angel Delta-7 Jedi Star Fighter
That's about right. Around $2,000 a year probably. When I was working in corrections my cost of living was a lot lower so I was spending a lot more then that.
Re: Azure Angel Delta-7 Jedi Star Fighter
I'm a child, it's my job to blow all my money on lego! I won't spend it all, but I can spend a fair amount, and even that will help me build up a collection!
Re: Azure Angel Delta-7 Jedi Star Fighter
Ah then enjoy it! I spent almost all of my money on Lego until was about 14 then I started buy CD's and movies... since there are other ways to get those now days... I spend all my extra money on Lego.
Re: Azure Angel Delta-7 Jedi Star Fighter
I am 14 now... but I don't listen to music, and I have Netflix. HAHA! I couldn't start working till 14 anyway.
