Discovery PII

Post by -Aki- on Sat Dec 13, 2008 7:46 pm

This takes place directly after the previous one. And by the way, Mike and James swapped that thingy, in case anyone gets confused Wink.

"Are you OK?"

"Yeah, just out of breath."

"Can you carry on?"

"Yeah. You run on ahead and I'll catch up."

"If you want to."

I cant believe we discovered proof of alien life!"

*Low, rasping breath*

"W-what was that?"

"Oh god."

"O-oh m-my l-lord..."

*Alien chirping noise*

"James! Help me!"

"Oof!"

"Yah!"

*Alien chirps*

"Bring it on! I'm not going down without a fight!"

"Hah!"

"Wauugh!"

"Ooof!"

*Gun loads*

*Alien chirps*

"Mike! Don't worry! O-oh m-my."

"Do not fear us, earthlings."

"What are you?"

"We are the Arkadia. I am Lurda, and that is my friend, Haja"

"How can you speak our language?"

"We can read your minds, and translate your brain waves."

"Are you okay?"

"Sure. After having my back smashed by someone, who posses superhuman strength, I am just bloody dandy."

"Sorry about that."

"What do you want with us? You going to destroy the Earth?"

"No. We do not wish to destroy Terra, but to be allies with it."

Sorry about the crappy landscape. Anyway, next time you will be seeing what the Arkadia have done for Earth.

OOH! Nice plot so far!

The story is what I really like about it! Nice brain wave translation idea!

You need to take time with your MOC though... it's kinda boring and plain...

I know. I would have added some details, like plants, but Jinja told me not to. What can I do to make it better?

I never said not to add plants, I told you to make it less blocky and use more subtle colours. The only thing I said about plants was that they were already evidence of life on that planet.

Make it bigger, all of your Mocs are tiny and not detailed.

I'm questioning the morality of this comic...

I'd really advise taking more time on the builds. This is really thrown together and lacks greebbles of any sorts. The story on the other hand, it great! Keep it up!

Thanks! How can I add greebs when it is a organic alien landscape? And how can I make it more detailed?

Instead of greebs, make it really smooth with rounded slopes. That ought to look good. I wouldn't bother with more detail on top of that, except maybe layering the plates on the floor to make it look a bit more organic.
