Sienar Fleet Systems FB-84

Hello All!
Today, I present one of my favorite creations. The FB-84 was used by various Non-Clone Squadrons in the Clone Wars. A somewhat maneuverable fighter, Its large torpedo payload and heavy cannons made it an ideal Capital Ship-Killer, when in a Squadron. It was a very robust fighter, with heavy shielding, but all this required space, so the engines were downgraded, making it a tad slower than most fighters. It usually had fighter escort, and was genuinely feared by some CIS Captains.

Not bad! The shape is nice! Could be a cool Rebel ship!

Eh, I'm not too fond of all the trans. I'm also not too fond of the last bit of the engine mechanism, with the wheel. Replace it all with grey or bley, think up something else for there, and I'll be content .

I would suggest you getting something else in addition Bshelf. (you can still keep Bshelf if you want though)

Flickr or MOCpages are the good choices... no need to be moderated...

HD, we FULLY allow deeplinks. We're not THAT restrictive with image size...

CW Y-wing = Y-wing
V-wing = TIE Fighter
ETA-2 = TIE Interceptor
H3D1's ship = A-wing

Actually, I'd say the Eta-2 is more of a prototype to the Interceptor if it's a prototype at all; I think the V-Wing is the prototype to the Tie Fighter; recall how in ROTS when Vader is taken to Coruscant you can clearly hear Sienar engines on the V-Wings.

That's what I was looking for; V-wing. But if you remember your history you'll remember that V-wings were inspired by ETA-2's.

But ETA-2's are inspired by Delta-7's, so...

Delta-7 Aethersprites are the great granddaddys of the Tie Fighter!

And the MAAT was inspired by the LAAT.
