First, boi, the titles are unnecessary. I think we can distinguish a walk from a run. Second, I think you need to increase your framerate. What fps are you using again?

Well, before I was using 30, but then Garet said he uses 15 and I saw his tutorial on walking here.

Huh. Odd. I use pretty much the exact same walk cycle, and at 15 fps as well, but yours seems much more choppier than mine. Hmm...are you shooting on doubles?

Remember that he's still a beginner, Maggosh... Wink

Doubles??? What does that mean?

@Jedi Joe: If you treat me like a beginner and go easy on me, how am I ever going to learn?

I'm just saying your quality isn't gonna be perfect on your second try. It is pretty good though!

I understand, just don't go easy on me okay? I'm not some noob who'll cry at every bad comment. I want to learn stop motion animation.

Basically capturing the same frame twice.

And Joe, I know he's still new to brickfilming. It's called constructive criticism. Try it; you'll like it. Razz

Maggosh, I was pointing out the obvious. You were wondering why his was choppier than yours even though he uses a higher framerate, so I told you why! Razz

I'm confuddled. Neither of your previous posts were telling me why.

I'm not doubling.... does WMM lower framerate?

What animation software do you use? I use MonkeyJam for animating and WMM for adding titles and adding sound and converting to WMVs.

1. No, WMM shouldn't lower the frame rate.
2. Same as you. MJ for frame capture and WMM for video editing.

Are you positively sure you have the fps set to 15 when you film?

Use a 48x48 and then secure the plates with some tape. Then they won't move. Since it's a 48x48, nobody will notice. Wink

Thanks Matchstick! I really like it too! Though walikng does get a little tedious at times... but running was fun! and frustrating...
