667th Spec Ops
Well, I have decided to make a series of episodes (Brickfilms) to go along with the adventures of General Exar and his Special Operations, and I would like someone to do some voices. What I need:
- General Exar
- Exar's Right hand man, Flank
- Trooper #1
- Trooper #2
That's it for now. I would like people to audition for the parts. (especially Exar.) Just post here if you are SERIOUS about doing this. If not, don't post! We will work things out afterwards. (Mods, if you need to move this, please do so. )

Re: 667th Spec Ops
Well... I can try, but my mic is a piece of crap, so don't be surprised if I can't do it. I'll try my luck as Trooper 1

I think I might be able to do Flank, but I'm not sure. My mic isn't perfect.

Ok, I'd like you to audition first though, so I'll send the lines to you via pm, you say 'em, and then we'll work things out from there.

Ok, I'll do it, but you'll have to tell me how to post audio files on P.M.

You can upload them to Brickshelf, if it's small enough. Either that or you could send them to 667 via email.

Wow, I totally didn't see your reply TB! Sure, you can audition. I'll pm you some lines. And, this topic I am now making into more of just my 667th Spec Ops work. I will show snippets here and there, and soon (hopefully) I will have my first episode done. I might even take some pics of my workspace, and other cool stuff like that.
Well, here's the first preview: my brand new Logo!

I'm gonna have to email you, for it won't work in pm or brickshelf. Any other ideas on how I can send you the lines I did?

Re: 667th Spec Ops
Ok, so I was thinking alot, and thought up something. Now, instead of General Exar being a hero from a small farm planet, I am making it where he is an extremely deadly assassin who is being payed by the CIS and killing off a bunch of highly ranked Republic officials. The only way the Republic can stop him is to pay him more. That's all you're getting out of me! The episode I'm working on right now is going on hold, due to this... I'll be showing how this all works out. Here's a few shots of Exar as an assassin. ENJOY!

Ok, so the walking was a bit rough, due to me trying out a new technique. But I really liked part of the roll, and the blasts at the end. Tell me what I need to change, besides the walking...
Re: 667th Spec Ops
That roll was awesome!!
So was the blasterfire/turning!
You need to tape down your baseplate though, that way it won't move!

I had it duct taped all over. I think I bumped the tripod a few times. I'll be going to make a better one here soon.
Re: 667th Spec Ops
I think it's the tripod. I tightened everything possible on it... Oh well, here's another test. Not quite as fun as the last one, but it focuses on the walking more.
Re: 667th Spec Ops
Third and final test, and NO BUMPS!! Yeah! I realized that my tripod was sitting with one leg on a rug, offseting the balance each time.
Re: 667th Spec Ops
Ok, so the fact that my computer is a PEICE OF CRAP, it doesn't want to open WMM. I have been using MonkeyJam for the animation, but planned on editing the voices and sound into it on WMM. So what I am saying, is if anyone has a program they know of that is FREEWARE and can do basically everything WMM can do, please post it. If not, I am looking for someone who could edit the video for me. I would send the stop motion stuff to you, and you just put the voices, SFX, and other things where I say. This is important, since I have made my deadline for Ep. 1 to be March 6th. 6 weeks from Fri. Any and all help is appreciated.
Re: 667th Spec Ops
Wow... quadruple post! Ok, here is another walk test, this is my favorite of all. I think it's really smooth too.
Sorry for the lighting change though... my mom was busy cleaning and got it the light a few times...

Yeah that is really smooth. How many frames did you use?

Re: 667th Spec Ops
I think about 30... I had it at 15 fps... how do you calculate it again? I thought you multiplied the fps x number of seconds, but that comes out to 75!
Re: 667th Spec Ops
*sighs*
You 15 fps, so for every 15 frames, there's one second. So if you have 30 frames you have 2 seconds...

Re: 667th Spec Ops
Wait a minute... in MonkeyJam, there is a box under the picture, which makes 2 boxes for each picture. Is that a frame? The numbers to the side?
