As you may know for about 7 months I was actively hunting down Tothiro's Muftak. I eventually bought one from an Unknown source and I made a cast of just the head. I am using it to make a Talz warrior.

PD@: I can use the same mold, but making more molds saves days of time and you get a lot more casts in fewer time.

If the snow trooper helmets look nice, i'll happily buy 2 or 4.

If I make four molds, I could pour the resin all at once and I could get more casts in fewer time. Yes I do have to wait between casting.

But wait, don't you have to get Tothiro's permission if you are gonna sell them??

The first one looks really nice! Just clean up the second one and it'll be good, right now its a bit messy. But better than I could sculpt.

Rob barely exists on the internet anymore. I say casting and selling should be fine, if only because I'd want one if it turned out okay.

For one I never said that I am going to sell. I said that I hope to and my parents might let me. I also never said I was going to sell the Talz heads.
I tried contacting Tothiro through Youtube once, but the legend of him never replying continued.

I got that one, but I casted it so it looks like Foul Moudama.

It's good. They are not color casts, but I just spray paint them and they look good.

Thats what I was wondering. The casts are not finished yet. They still need a couple days.

The process of casting starts with a mold, then you pour the resin, then you get the cast. I poured the resin and am waiting for it to dry.

I agree, that is a bit too long...my resin from Smooth-on takes only thirty minutes! Which type of resin do you use?

Is the drytime called "Demold time"? If so, then Alumilite only takes 5-8 minutes! According to thier website!

That's what I use... and that stuff hardens in 1-5 minutes, and more like 30 seconds for black resin
Be sure to mix your 2 liquids correctly.
