The Muunulist 10's original Laat/I WIP
UPDATE: Okay, well I have since re-done this gunship in Black instead of Blue. It's still a WIP as I have yet to cover the gaps where the door slants (I will do this by using the same technique LEGO uses in the new Gunship). These doors are modeled after the actual doors from the original Clone Wars, they are all one piece and slide backwards. I also put a little slot in the corner of the doors so that I can add ball turrets on if I wish. And I re-did the structure to mak it closer to the new gunship, size-wise. Anyways here is the update:
An overall shot:
The wing (Noticed I used an idenification system similer to that of X-wings, and therefore designates this gunship as Black 2):
The upgraded Missile Racks:
The troop deck with the doors open:
The rear of the Gunship and the speeder bike ramp:
And with the ramp open:
And one last look:
Still a WIP, but I thought I'd show you how it was coming along.

Anyway, it's really nice Astoria! Now we need a new gunship variant!

Re: The Muunulist 10's original Laat/I WIP
I see how!
The bricks are attached as follows from left to right:
A megaphone, a 1x1/2 fancy brick( ), a 3-long axle with a stud on the end stuck into the fancy brick, a 1-long thingummy all the way down and a 1/2 long thingummy on the end.
Well, if ABL can't explain it better than this, I will be surprised.

Re: The Muunulist 10's original Laat/I WIP
It really pops out at me that the whole cockpit pod is way to high. I think it should be set more into the model, and it seems there is kindof a gap between the back of the pod and the rest of the gunship. Also the rocket pod tubes need to be much longer, and actually have a tube.
I wrote that for the other gunship post but the same applies to this one. Also didn't the muunilinst 10 gunship have side ball turrets? And can the doors close all the way?
Nice job but I think it still needs some work.

Yes, it does have side balls, and the doors on this one don't close all the way because of the turrets. The fact is we couldn't find enough of our spare turrets to give this one enclosed wing turrets AND side turrets, so my brother decided we should just give it wing turrets for now, if you look in some of the pics, the side turret mounts are visible.

Yeah, this is more a WIP really, I made the Bay doors sloped(Like the NEW Gunship and the prototype), I changed the speeder bike bay door to be more accuratly shaped, and I sunk in the cockpit area as CC suggested. I did these modifications to both my Gunships.

Good job on that ship. You do need the front needs those stickers with the mouth on it so it can be the exact thing but otherwise good job!

Re: The Muunulist 10's original Laat/I WIP
The very front tip needs a little work ABL I think that black piece needs to go. Also the guns are hard to replicate so I won't flame you there. The white piece under the wing that holds the turret bubble stuck out a little, but the coloration looks good. Can I see a picture of that ARC trooper with that giant gatlin (SP I'm horrible with that word) gun?!!

Ok I'll be waiting impatiently
Re:The Muunulist 10's original Laat/I
Generaly it's great and accurate but blue just doesn't work for me, something to do with Lego itself I guess, so I like it
Re: The Muunulist 10's original Laat/I WIP
that is sweet. I love the republic gunship, and how you modded yours with a new color scheme. But who is the yoda body with the brick for a head?
