Re: CTSA - AT-TE Gunner pauldron WIP
I'm a bit stuck on this one, since when I glue the back straps together, you can't remove it without damaging. Any ideas?

Hmm...
That's a tough one, maybe if you make it a bit looser so there's more space to take it off?

But then it wouldn't hold. Because you either have to destroy it or put the arms off.

Ouch...
Can we have a pic of this "failed" prototype? Maybe we could be of more assistance if we had a visual image.

The problem is, I didn't make it yet.

Oh, so you're only thinking about it theoretically...
In that case, make it anyway. It's like LEGO, you know something might not work, but you try it anyway and tweak the design!

Re: CTSA - AT-TE Gunner pauldron WIP
Yea, but what's the point of making something when you know it's not going to work?

Well you could always try to tweak it like make a paper prototype, and play around with the angles!
Re: CTSA - AT-TE Gunner pauldron WIP
Yea, but I can't change the angles... I need ti have a good way to attach/detach 1 part to another.

Maybe put it on the shelf for awhile and revisit it later, that sometimes helps.
Re: CTSA - AT-TE Gunner pauldron WIP
That's what I've done, but nope.

What's wrong with just taking the arms off?DarthPineapple wrote:I'm a bit stuck on this one, since when I glue the back straps together, you can't remove it without damaging. Any ideas?

That makes the arms loose when you put them on again.

Not really.
It depends on how you take it out and how old the LEGO is...
It works fine for me.

Well, how do you take them off then? I put them facinf forward and then give pressure to the hand/lower arm.

Re: CTSA - AT-TE Gunner pauldron WIP
That' a bad way to take them off. Grab the hand and pull away from the torso.

Yes that's what I do...

Oh. Well I don't know then. Maybe someone should make a tutorial on how to take arms off.
