Aki's Kama and pauldron paper guru!
OK then. Here are the instructions for my awesome clothing accessories:
You will need:
Paper
Markers/pens
kitchen paper
glue
if you need it, a hole punch if you desperately need it, but remove the bottom
scissors
1. Design your Kama/whatever the hell it is on your paper with markers
2. Cut is out
3. When the markers dry, cover both sides with glue
4. Stick your kitchen paper on to it, and, using the paper version as a guide, cut the same shape out
5. Repeat step four with the other side
6. The markers should show through, so go over it with the markers
And there you have it! It takes less then 5 minutes!
ABL and DP already know it, but I thought everyone would want to know how.

Are they hard-wearing? Can you play with the cloths for extended periods of time?

I just use cloth for my clones. Works very good aswell. You can't put designs on it with markers though.

Re: Aki's Kama and pauldron paper guru!
I suggest using cloth so you can print on with iron-on transfers.
Aki -this is a very nice guide and I will have to try your way out.

They can resist moderate play, and even strong play in some cases. If you make a bad one, try ripping it in two .

It reinforces it, and makes it looks like clothes.

This is BRILLIANT!!! It works perfectly! I also found it usefull to go over the cloth again with the marker for a better color! Thanks Aki!

If you want to make cool like rebel capes, try using tectured bounty!
Use a spell checker.

Bounty!? That's like using the Q-tip thing. This is why I'm such a "Tight A$$ Purists"! Ideas like this just make we want to nuke people and eat my own puke. I can see how it's cheap and easy and I've made paper capes before, but paper towels! Just buy some nice ones! Or better yet buy the right fabric and make some!
PS: This is old topic so I'm going to kill it now.
