Quarantine: "The Fleshie Virus"
My play on the debate over yellow or fleshie minifigs.
"Command, the mob is overrunning the square...*intermittent blaster fire*...hostiles moving on my position... we have a taxi going down, need back up repeat NEED BACK UP!"
"All troops be advised a virus has been released on Coruscant. Germination period appears to be two to three days, and starts out resembling the common cold. Confirmed symptoms are as follows: victim's skin assumes a pale "fleshie" complexion, victim becomes increasingly violent, and increasingly resilient to blasters, a running nose, sneezing, and coughing.
Other symptoms include: swelling and wrinkling of the victim's eyes and face. *cough*CWfaces*cough*
All troopers have shoot on sight authorization."

Wow this is really amazing! There is so much to be said about this MOC not one bad! The way you did the tower was brilliant! The texture on the roof amazing! Even the design on the town floor is perfect, and to to top it all of the simplicity of that air taxi brings a sense of completion to the MOC. Amazing work!

Wow, this is excellent! The tower is pretty cool and I like the use of pieces that are slanted. Alot of action and nice job!
Re: Quarantine: "The Fleshie Virus"
I was thinking of doing something like this, except use yellow figs as the infected...
Very good work, though. It has a lot of detail, and the concept is awesome!

Nice.I love how you filled that arch with the slopes.
The only "bad" thing I see here is that it's TOO crowded.

I disagree, as long as he provides a shot of the scene without figures the crowdedness only adds to the pandemonium.
The arched wall looks to be the best part, particularly how you placed those 'skidders'(round 4x4s that go underneath most hovercraft vehicles) sidemounted inside the arch.

I agree with 80-0 on that point of view. But I am wondering... How did you have the plate in the inside side of the tower face backwards with the 2x2 circle pieces on there?

I think I see what he did: he used those 'brickbuilt railway' pieces that came in the Dwarf Mine and other sets, attached some lengthened versions of 2x2 slopes underneath the rails, and fit it neatly inside the structure.

Wow that is a interesting concept but i do no know what railway pieces your talking about? I know the 2x2 slopes your talking about though. Do you have a pictured of the railway piece your talking about?

Re: Quarantine: "The Fleshie Virus"
I needed another use for those railway pieces. Also, isn't it convenient that the "yellow" people are running away?
Concerning the number of minifigs, I was going for a chaotic scene, and I had so many minifigs I wanted to use (the rodian, C-3PO, Jar-Jar, power miners, etc.) that I had to cut some out.

Re: Quarantine: "The Fleshie Virus"
Well played. I thought about doing something like this but decided against it. Great movement with the crowd below and the airspeeder with the fleshie running up at the yell(ie?).
Re: Quarantine: "The Fleshie Virus"
The 1x2 slopes placed underneath that arch just make an amazing effect. Great job overall, the design on the ground is also very nice. Howver the biggest thing I like in this scene is the micro sized air taxi; I mean we've all seen the big style ones, but this is really fresh and practical and has a nice flowing design. Great work!
