82nd QRF Legion

82nd QRF Legion: Finished! 82_cre10

About the 82nd QRF Legion.

The 82nd QRF Legion was a special legion made up of the best of the best. The legion has a wide assortment of Battalions, but they can all work together as one to get the job done. And get the job done is what they do! Its main job was to be sent in to rescue troops that were pinned down and taking heavy fire. Thats where the QRF comes. QRF means Quick Reaction Force and quick was what the 82nd was. They were able to deploy any where in the galaxy in a matter of days. During Order 66 the 82nd refused to betray the Jedi. They helped Jedi General Sheesh Kobob Razz to escape with his padawan. When this was found out the Emperor disbanded the 82nd and redistributed the troops though out the Army. The 82nd legion was forgotten and the number "82" was removed altogether from the legion data base.

Jedi General:

Bio: Coming.

Clone Commander: Commander Bizzle (still being worked on)

The commander of the 82nd was CC-8245. He,like many other commanders, went through Arc training and was rewarded a legion to command. He made the 82nd the second best legion in the GAR. But when it was found out that he helped the Jedi escape Order 66 he was put to death.

Regiment Info:

22nd Artillery Regiment

The Heavy Troopers and Clone Gunners:

82nd QRF Legion: Finished! 3904671338_6e68e9618b

82nd QRF Legion: Finished! 3904678354_1f7f31e003
The 22nd Artillery Regiment was supported by regular clone gunners and a few heavy troopers. It was able to deploy very fast to the surface of a planet and have their artillery working in a matter of an hour. And depending on the situation a Battalion of Infantry could be deployed with them to provide cover fire. Even though it was mainly a artillery regiment the 22nd Artillery Regiment did have a battalion of TX-130's. The support ships are the LAAT/i, the LAAT/c and the RAS.

90th Mechanized Regiment

Heavy Troopers ( all heavy troopers are the same):

The 90th Mechanized Regiment was mainly used to support the infantry as they conducted their missions. It consisted of a few Heavy Troopers and the engineers. The 90th Mechanized Regiment also had a small amount of infantry. The infantry of the 90th Mechanized Regiment were well trained in all types of combat from snow to urban. They performed the best when they had the fire support of their TX-130s and AT-TE's. Like most legions their support vehicles were the LAAT/i's and LAAT/c's and L-AT-TE's which they used to transport supplies and personal.

96th Fighter Regiment

The 96th Fighter Regiment consisted of scouts, bombers and fighters. The main use was to clear the sky surrounding any planet from droid fighters. They also had a large number of W Wings which very few battalions had due to the lack of stability in the over all design. But the engineers of the 96th Fighter Regiment were able to fix the flaws and make it the most feared ship of the 96th Fighter Regiment. The pilots were regular clone pilots with no special training.

67th Infantry Regiment

Snipers:
82nd QRF Legion: Finished! 3904671712_ae18144518
Regular Troopers:
82nd QRF Legion: Finished! 3904670974_cf3d40edf8

The 67th Infantry Regiment was a very diverse regiment. It had four battalions all of which were different. No other battalion was like the 67th Infantry Regiment. It had The 10th Elite Infantry Battalion which were experts in sabotage and covert missions. It had The 9th Infantry Battalion which were highly specialized in ground combat with the aid of artillery and heavy armor. It also had its own sniper battalion, The 47th Sniper Battalion which is credited with holding a narrow pass from an entire droid army (around 2500 droids),there were only 25 snipers in the pass. No other sniper battalion was ever able to do that. Then they had the 87th Heavy Trooper Battalion which was mainly deployed with The 90th Mechanized Regiment and The 22nd Artillery Regiment to give them cover fire as they were setting up the artillery or getting the vehicles unloaded. The support ships of the 67th Infantry Regiment were LAAT/i's, LAAT/c's,RAS and LAA/HA.

The Vehicles And Artillery:

The Republic Attack Shuttle:
82nd QRF Legion: Finished! DSCN2601

The Republic attack shuttle was used as a attack and troop transport by all different battalions of the 82nd QRF Legion. They heavily modified theirs to hold more then the accustomed amount of troopers. It also had a re-armored hull. And was used to transport HVT's. High Value Targets. Mainly CIS generals and supporters.

Republic Gunship:
82nd QRF Legion: Finished! DSCN2600

The regiments of the 82nd QRF Legion used both LAAT/i's and LAAT/c's. They were mostly used to transport troops,L-AT-TE and AT-TE's into battle.

The AT-TE
82nd QRF Legion: Finished! DSCN2602

The AT-TE was used heavily by the 90th Mechanized Regiment as a troop transport. A battalion of the 22nd Artillery Regiment even used the AT-TE because of its superior fire power and durability.

The L-AT-TE Info:

82nd QRF Legion: Finished! DSC00011

The L-AT-TE was a experimental legless version of the AT-TE. IT was used by the 90th Mechanized Regiment and the 67th Infantry Regiment to transport troopers and supplies to the needed area. It was fast and more reliable then the AT-TE. The fact that it didn't have legs allowed it to go places the AT-TE couldn't. Only a few Regiments where allowed to use them as they were still being developed.

Clone Scout Speeder Info:

82nd QRF Legion: Finished! DSCN0070

The CSS was used to patrol, insert snipers and to escort L-AT-TE's ect. It had many variations this variation being the scouting version. It was mass produced because it was so reliable and could take extreme conditions.

The W Wing

82nd QRF Legion: Finished! DSCN0094

The W Wing is a scout ship used by the 96th Fighter Regiment to scout the area ahead and destroy and droids in the area. It was capable of both dogfighting and engaging the transports or main battle cruisers. It was armed with four blaster cannons and 2 proton missile tubes. It would fly in groups of 2-4 fighters.

The Clone Scout Fighter

82nd QRF Legion: Finished! 3254722478_5a5b62a18c

The CLF was mass produced durning the clone wars due to its ruggedness and ability to take and delver extreme amounts of fire power. It has a hyperdrive and 2 dual laser cannons. There is a R2 unit imbedded in the body of the ship. It is hidden due to the fact of Buzz droids which really like R2 units.

Squads:

The squads of the 82nd were few in number. There was only squad that was not attached to any Battalion or Regiment. So they could be called in by anyone in need. It was the 82nd Bomb Squad. Nicknamed the "destroyers". They specialized in detonating or defusing bombs that were planted on ships on in the base's of the 82nd.

Maybe you could put in a battalion for non-combatants (ie engineers, medics, technicians)

Also you've labelled some of your battalions as regiments.

No offence but how can this be the 2nd best legion in the GAR? At least say that in the title it is an elite legion.

This legion just has a commander with one dark red arm. Maybe a kama or something for him.

So here is what I think you should do, drop the 2nd best legion thing and spice up your commander.
