OK, take off the backward facing cannonball(for want of a better word) and put a 1x1 round stud; the shell ejector doesen't stick out that far back.

I have an idea for a purist kama you get 2 brackets and put them on minifig legs.

How to make a lego chaingun.

Finally, here is the chaingun design some of you have seen on my old Galactic Marine. Note, this is NOT my original design, I remember I found it one day on google images or something and figured it out.

Here are the steps.

I mean, we could go on and debate this irrevalently, but seriously. Just focus on the damned chaingun.
