WIP Naboo Plains *UPDATED 3/20/09 11:45 PM EST*
Okay, so my battlefield entry will take place on the Naboo Plains... I'm trying to go for something like this:
I'm trying to figure out how to do that giant Buddha head...
Any ideas and suggestions welcome.

No, Rook. I was gonna build it outta clay. Any ideas on how to do the head? Should it be plates or SNOT?

Bricks and plates. Use jumpers and stuff.

Dude that will be awesome. But how are you gonna make it a battle field? For the head I would make it lego person head style. If you know what I mean.

I mean build it like a lego persons head. Round with the stud on top and the ears sticking out. If you know what I mean.

That will be interesting to see when its done! Can't wait for pictures because this is a great concept.

This will be a great thing to buid. Make sure you get the details on the fae right though, and don't mix the colors too much. Otherwise, good luck!

Have the head get blown up by an RPG. And the creatures get blasted.

Okay, enough with all the spammy "OMG! THIS WILL BE AWESOME" comments. Thanks.

I think Bonehead was trying to say that it would be cool if it were partly destroyed...
Re: WIP Naboo Plains *UPDATED 3/20/09 11:45 PM EST*
Yeah pretty much. I mean, have a chunk of it blown off. And don't call me bonehead.
Re: WIP Naboo Plains *UPDATED 3/20/09 11:45 PM EST*
Nah... But, it will be hollow... I think I'll have a CP inside it... or a wounded trooper... BTW, should I include my AT-XT or should I make an AT-RT?
Re: WIP Naboo Plains *UPDATED 3/20/09 11:45 PM EST*
What was the AT-XT? I don't remember. But a few AT-RT's would be cool. And maybe an AT-AP shooting a hailfire.
Re: WIP Naboo Plains *UPDATED 3/20/09 11:45 PM EST*
I don't have an AT-AP.... Okay, so far the moc will include :
- A Homing Spider Droid (unless I can get my hands on an AAT)
- Possibly an AT-RT
- My minifig-scale BARC (haven't posted yet)
- The giant Buddha head
- Original Droid carrier and SBDs
- 4- 5 clones (excluding vehicle pilots)
Anything else I should add? I'm not allowed to play video games during the week so I can't check out the Naboo Plains map from Battlefront 1 for other stuff to add...
Suggestions please.

Well if you can't play the game why don't you look up game play footage...
So far it sounds good. I want to see some pics soon PD.

Jumpers are the 1 by 2 plates, with the one stud in the middle.Pdragon wrote:What are "jumpers"? Sorry if that was n00bish...
Anyway, this sounds interesting! And that head will be hard, there has to be a bunch of techniques for it!
Re: WIP Naboo Plains *UPDATED 3/20/09 11:45 PM EST*
Ah. Thats what they are....Hmm...those could be useful...BTW, I'm almost done with the AT-RT. Just need to PaB the pieces for the second foot.... Haven't started on anything else yet, though...
Re: WIP Naboo Plains *UPDATED 3/20/09 11:45 PM EST*
Hmm I'll love to see how that head will turn out.

Re: WIP Naboo Plains *UPDATED 3/20/09 11:45 PM EST*
Would that be the official AT-RT?
Anyways, good luck, but in places where there's only 1 color, the only way you can REALLY detail it is by making the hills using plates going up 1 stud by one, or big craters from artillery.
