PhiMa's AT-RT

Post by PhiMa on Thu Mar 19, 2009 7:18 pm

Yes, I know that to some people this may be getting annoying, but hey, I was bored. I basically took bantha's design (giving him credit) and tried to change out as many pieces as possible. I think it turned out pretty well. What do you think?

Main shot:

View of the Leg:

Attack on the AAT. CHAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAARGE:

In comparison with the Driver (I don't own a Kashyyyk Trooper):

Sorry again, if you're getting annoyed by the BanthAT-RTs, but I really liked the design and didn't want to exactly copy his concept so I changed pieces.

The upper part needs to a bit bigger and bulkier. But still a very nice MOC! Well done!

Looks great! The cockpit is way to small. The back, needs more stuff. Like a weapons rack. Or something like that. The legs and feet are awesome!!! Overall, not bad! Ahhhh!! Attack the AAT! Oh yeah, since the cockpit is to small, it would not have a high chance against the AAT. So, make it bigger, if you can.

Well Felix look how small the back is on this picture:

Anyways, you did an amazing job with this Phima, I love the leg design.

Oh, now I see, Shadow. I did not know if that was it. But the front needs to be bigger. Sorry if I cannot stop saying that the front needs to be bigger. But really, it is an awesome MOC!

Looks nice! But I think you should turn the wedges on the side of the cockpit so the broad end is up.

Yep, obviously he hasn't. CLEARLY he should know that heavy seperatist tanks are NO MATCH for teeny-tiny lightly armored personal walker in gangs.sarcasm

I'm just pointing out the fact that an At-Rt SHOULD NOT be able to defeat an AAT. (Unless I'm highly mistaken, and At-Rt do have great firepower. And yeah I know some of them got killed

There is the swarm factor, you know. That's how the AT-RT's took down the AAT's, by surrounding them. And in the hands of a proper pilot, an AT-RT could take out an AAT. Just watch me in Battlefront II. Wink No, but really, if properly handled and if aiming at the right spots, an AT-RT can run circles around an AAT and take it down.

Yeah, just throw a buncha mortars at the AAT, then it blows.

Or, just use the alternative, jump on the AAT, and start placing mines.

But that's not related, so I'll start by saying good job, FEMA. Wink

Or, take a rocket launcher, walk behind it and shoot the back a couple times and voila! No more AAT and a nice little Demolitions award with a guided rocket launcher. Razz

Can't believe I missed this! Great work PhiMa! The feet are a little big, but they've got the right angles. I guess I'll have to jump on the bandwagon soon and make my own AT-RT Wink
