222nd Legion Chronicles: Back in White
Greetings!
This is my seventh comic in my Legion Chronicles series. This is a direct follow-up to my sixth comic, 'Men Down'. However, to understand what is going on with the plot, you'll definantly need to read all of the previous comics in this series.
On with the comic!
Well that's the seventh comic. The 9th Cavalry has joined the battle for Subterraintropolis! Please provide comments and constructive feedback.

LOL! AID-5 = AIDS. Great comic though! Loved all the action and I'm sooo jealous of all your white pieces...
Re: 222nd Legion Chronicles: Back in White
Good comic CC007! I like the way you used stuffing for smoke. (Or is that fog?)
Re: 222nd Legion Chronicles: Back in White
Woah! Is that Larty carrying a TX-130? Post that thing. Naow. JK, but really very nice mod.

Not bad!
I like how you customized your Laarty, instead of buying that poorly designed crap of an 'awesome set'.
Good GIMPang too.

Set design is good as always, I envy your pieces . I took note of what you did there with the old clones, quick to rush into action, but foolish. You always enter a combat behind the armor . But my compliments end there.
I know it was plot-progression, but you tapered out half-way through the issue. I was impressed with the "heavy on the trigger" jargon, but then when they started throwing out sensless insults, I raised an eyebrow . The laser bolts are iffy. Yer still working out your technique , so I understand that much.

I agree, except for that one line, "Light on the feet, heavy on the trigger!", the diologue was pretty much crap. And my laser blasts were pretty bad too, I agree, but I'm not even trying to be a gimp-master here, am I?

No, so I'm not going to chew you out! I just wish I could get the same attention with my comics... none of the newer members like 'em, or maybe me .

This is fantastic. When I saw it, posted shortly after Men Down, I thought it was going to be rubbish, but I love it!

Sweet comic, CC! The Gunship holding the tank, is epic! The GIMPing was good. But, where is the med-center guys? I also like the little gunship; it is well made. The front-line fighting was amazing! Overall, really great comic.

Awesome comic CC! I really like how there is a lot of action going on at once. I also really like your gunship MOD, looks great!
Re: 222nd Legion Chronicles: Back in White
Alright! Once again, an awesome Comic from you. Good job on the LAAT/c carrying the TX-130. Nice plot too. All in all, a great job.
Re: 222nd Legion Chronicles: Back in White
So you modified a recent CW gunship I see to make that? How complicated was it to take off the lower rear section?
Nice comic of course; I love all those street-patrol(or whatever ) droids with the flamethrower and such.

You've got to look through the comic section, probably on the pages before. You'll find them somewhere.

That is a good question. Since only some of the old comic threads were moved to the new comic subforum, the old comic threads are still lost in the CAC forum pages. However my Eurobricks topic has a full index of them:

And 80-0, the troop bay is actually rather easy to remove. It's not wired into the main frame of the ship, just pretty much latched on there, so it doesn't hurt the set's stability at all.

OK; did you have to add anything else(aside from the clamps) to the Saber Tank?

By the cockpit, under the slopes on the side, where there are the 1x2 bley 'vent' pieces, I removed those and replaced them with 1x2 white bricks with a technique round hole in them, allowing it to swing freely. For the support from the gunship I put a long technique piece right through the frame of the gunship, and then suspended the long braces with the round holes in them from that, and they connected to the tank.

CC, its not technique, Its Technic! Pronounced like "technical" without the -al.
Also can you post that gunship mod?

Re: 222nd Legion Chronicles: Back in White
Can't say I loved this one too much CC-007. The story needs more... story...
Saying that, your scenery is probaly the most epic and well done of all us CABGer's, some compliments on that! I also like the T being carried by the Larty. So, while it lacks too much story, it has a lot of good pieces too.
But really, comics are a story, and this needs more. Maybe just this comic lacks it, but you want less fighting and more story. The last one for example was good. Lots of talking, an awesome death...
This one was just bam, boom, bum. Die droids! Gun gun! Ratatatatatat! Smash! Boom Kurooooooooooom! EXPLOSION! OH NOZ!!!!!! DROIDS!!!! Bang bang bang! Booom! Yesair!
