MMCB & FC's Magnificent Mechanical Minifig Contest
The art of minifig customization with a satisfying steampunk twinge.
There will be two categories for entries: Automatons and 'Mechanical Assistive Devices'
Automatons are self sufficient machines designed for interacting with humans. Essentially, steampunk robots... Creations typically said to be driven by clockwork and nonsense but are in some way of use to the modern world at large. These do not necessarily need to appear humanoid but the scientists behind them feel it benefits both man and machine - as such, it's encouraged for the contest to use minifig parts - modified where necessary - to properly conceive such a contraption, and they are not to be grossly oversized as to endanger interested parties.
The 'Mechanical Assistive Devices' are suits made to be worn by anyone (read: any unmodified minifig) which will increase said users abilities in whatever manner they may require. Heavy loads need lifting? Extra reach required for a task at hand? Why, with the help of a 'MAD' suit such impossibilities become trivial... possibly even amusing! Why, such devices could be adapted to help serve in the armed services when you're country calls you to arms. These steam powered suits typically appear humanoid and may vary in size from barely noticeable if passed in a warehouse to towering goliaths for more pressing applications.
Entrants may submit up to one of each contraption, for no more than two entries per person (meaning one of each or both). Submit an image (no larger than 400x400 pixels) and description of your creations and preferably a link to discus it as well. Contest is open to all who wish to enter; the deadline for submissions is March 31 at 11:59pm (US Central Standard Time). Judging will commence once all the entries are accounted for, and prizes will be distributed accordingly thereafter. Inquiries and clarification requests may be filed here in the mean time.
Prizes:
1st in each category:
MMCB Magnificent Prize Pack
4 of Tothiro Bith Heads
1 of Tothiro Nabrun Lieds Heads
1 of Tothiro Ithorian Heads
2nd in each category:
MMCB Mini-Prize Pack
1 of Tothiro Bith Heads
1 of Tothiro Odd colored C3P0 Head (at the FC discretion)
FC Mini-Prize Pack or $5 in FC merchandise
Fine Print
Four prizes in all, 2 First and 2 Second. You are not eligible to win two first place prizes. Please note that all of the Tothiro parts are technically seconds and have minor flaws, but still are quite nice and would add to any custom figure.
The FC will arrange for a panel of judges to determine the winner. If need be to break a tie the forums maybe used for Poll voting.
Custom figures are heavily encouraged to be the operators of the 'Mechanical Assistive Devices' but not required. Decals are legal. Custom parts are legal. Please read the rules carefully.
Get to building.

Re: Logger Automaton
Good work, Rook. The size of it is a key factor since it needs to be cuttin'.
Never had to much interest in City, I just thought there wasn't enough options.

Well in was mainly just cops and robbers. Maybe a litle bit of time travelling, "Back to the Future" had just come out.
