Siege on the generator

Post by [Jay] on Tue Mar 31, 2009 9:26 am

Master Hoon Jinn and Commander lead a tricky assault on a Techno Union Base, but soon they find that a sith assasin and a deadly bounty hunter are helping the droids... Soon a casket of deadly energy crystals drop, spilling all over a corner of the generator room and killing a trooper. There only hope is to die destroying the generator, so a trooper sets a thermal detenator.

Reinforcements arrive:

Hoon Jinn Battles the deadly sith assasin:

A clone is blown away by the force of an exploding wall:

While it is a less awesome MOC, it is the chaotic battlefield theme I was looking for. Nicely done.

The pencils and junk outside the base caught my eye. Try removing them before you take pictures next time. Other than that it was an awesome battle.

More details! You're on the verge of becoming pretty good. The idea of the model and the motion of the characters are good. The power generator from your previous model is excellent. This is how you want the rest of you model should to look. Less "battle damage" would give clarity to model. And of course get the pens out the shot. Wink I see a young DY or LRV in the making. Both have the skills to spank me from time to time. Like this month I'm sure I'm easily beat in DP's contest.

I think, overall, this is a pretty good MOC. I think you really demonstrated the feel of a battlefield.

Nice job! Smile

Speaking of the first picture, maybe try and take a behind shot so you are aiming straight down the corridor. You'd get more detail of the build and the wall and less outer mess. Wink

Very nice!

You've improved alot! I like how you started not using the basic building and started using more advanced techniques.

Very nice Match. The disks on the wall are a nice touch as well as the power generator which is very well done. The damage in the room is well done too. You are well on your way to be a fantastic builder.

Fairly good MOC I think there are a few flaws but the one I really dislike is the gaps of the walls and the odd heights. Overall it will be a good competition!

Nice overall, however the backround area around the MOC was cluttered and it showed in the pictures, not a good idea. Wink The walls also looked a little hastily thown together, though you did try to greeble them up a bit. Nice, though could use some work.

I think it is a good moc, but add some more detail. Also, can we see some more pictures? Good Job.

Don't be afraid to upload more pics and continue describing the story/moc! I felt a little jipped on it because I had to go to the gallery. The energy crystals was a good idea, but I think you should try to put more lasers blasting through the air to try and spice it up a little by adding more color.
