"Hunt" Trailer

Here is the trailer for my new film and entry to GP's contest...


The lighting isn't as epic as I would have liked it to be... but I'll fix that in the final film.

Well, all I could see was an assassin droid....

How the heck did you make the posable legs?! That is cool!

An IG droid... farts around a console not doing squat, some dramatic music comes out of nowhere seeming very out of place and he suddenly has a gun. And then it says he's coming. From what we've seen in the past of IG droids, they aren't all too fearsome.

No offense but that honestly isn't an exciting trailer.

Yeah, I just made this as a test with lighting for the real deal. But I think the last pic was really epic, don't you?

The last pic where he is holding the gun. That was the pic where I finally figured out the lighting...

The music really gives a surreal effect to it. I'd suggest maybe using some Republic Commando/KotOR/KotOR 2 music for a more realistic sense.

If I could find some, I'd use it.

The "Duel of the Fates" music was perfect!

The animation was kinda meh... now I gotta work on mine!

I enjoyed that, but your assassin droid will be nothing compared to mine when he is finished!

Music fails, and so does your Window Movie Making. It simply seems fake, that's the point. You need something that works with the footage, this doesn't. And Windows Movie maker is like a knife. You can either cut through the emotions cleanly, or I can come and cut off your head ! And NEVER use Duel of Fates. It's absolute rubbish, and extremely overused.

The stop-motion is VERY good. I've been trying to figure out how I could do it myself without a tripod. It's just your editing that sucks.

Tape that base to the table, it's moving all the time!

So, I tried editing this into something respectable. Impossible. There is less than 5 full seconds of the protagonist on the screen. I can't do something with that. The closest I got was a simulated camera smash scene... but that was rotten at best.

Nope. Downloaded off the Internet.. and Duel of the Fates was the only Star Wars song I could think of, other than the title theme..

You really have to buy those soundtracks; you're missing so much. If you have to download em' off iTunes...

I have the Attack of the Clones one....

You can get the Original Trilogy soundtrack as a 3 CD box set, but the other two PT CDs are individually distributed.
