AquaRaiders Supply Base

I found two Aquabases on clearence at Wal Mart, and had to buy them for an AWESOME under-water base, this is what I came up with, it doesn't use any extra pieces except for some that are used to hold an secure the ights and wires, but oter then that the main structure is just from those two sets. Sorry for the quality of some of the pics as I am not yet that good at photographing LARGE objects! So here it is, the Aquaraiders Supply Base!












As you can see it has FUNCTIONING lights, that was the toughet part! As always Comments are appreciated!

I've got to say, some of your better work. You should go into base building! (HA! Easily reached 5 words)

Woah, that's great! I love the four cords plugged into the ground at the front!

One slight suggestion, though: You see where there's two submarines docked? The second pilot would have to climb over the other sub to get back inside and vice versa. I suggest making two separate docks.

I thought of that, but there wasn't enough room/parts to make it look good, besides both pilots have to technichally swim to get to them anyway since they are front-boarding. But I will consider that thank you!

In the back (which I STUPIDLEY forgot to get a pic of ) there is a sea-scooter/sub parking area and two cargo cranes, you can kinda see it under the base in the back. And thanks Zeph, I like it too, I think ALL underwater bases ought to be on stilts!

If I was building an underwater base, It would be blue, for camouflage, and on the bottom of the ocean, without stilts, because if something happens to break the stilts, your dead. Why yellow underwater stuff? I don't get it.

Well it all depends, your base would be for a military/para military group. Aquaraiders (at least this incarnation) are only fighting mutant sea beasts, not intelligent opponents. In Lego Aquazone Colors also sometimes mean allegance, Aquaraiders (new)-yellow, Aqua Raiders-green, Hydronauts-chrome, trans green and black, as well as black, Aquanauts-Yellow and trans-blue, Aqua sharks-trans orange and black, Stingrays-dark grey, red, and black.

Enemy bases, or someone who values stealth would e better off to hide their base on the sea floor, or in a cave. But for the Aquaraiders, yellow and stilts work.

It looks awesome! I love your octopus.

Nicely modified. The added blue background is nice. Would have been cool if you could have had a blue table too.

I actually have an Aquazone diorama that this base goes to, but I have yet to place it, when I do I'll take pics. It will look WAY cooler once in the Aquazone!
