AAT Gunner

Post by Shadowstealer on Tue Apr 14, 2009 10:42 pm

Well as I was watching the CW episode Ambush I saw this droid and felt like doing it, not much stuff done, but I like it:

(sorry for the blurry pic):

As always, comments and tips welcome. Smile

It looks ok. . .I would suggest using decals, though.

I think it's supposed to be a sergeant. I don't remember the light green though...

It's a AAT gunner from Ambush... or did you make it by accident?

Very clean for a sharpie, but I thing if you pait it that it would look even better. If you paint, that is.

I think that's supposed to be a droid with camo on it because I think it was said on Wookiepedia that some were giving camo to be in forest areas but I don't know why all the ones with camo would be in the AAT.

It's pretty good, the design is great but the sharpie messes is up. It would look 5 times better in paint. Use a toothpick, that shouldn't be hard. Smile

It might be too great for this sort of job however. When I painted helmets, there were several depressions that made 'dipping' the toothpick into and spreading the paint easier. For this sort of paintjob, it might just be easier to go with a very fine paintbrush. Or an alternative way is to cut off the point of a toothpick, flatten the 'pick and used that to paint with.
