Even though you already do, I was about to suggest that if you have any bionicle arms/legs, you could use those to make a really nice and more robotic looking arm.

Power Miners

Post by namlego14 on Wed Apr 15, 2009 2:44 am

I think the Power miners set will work out just fine. For the robotic arms, to make it as posable as possible. Try using some pieces from Bionicle. I hope this helped. Good luck on your MOC. Blue Arc

Well since I can't enter I'll help. If I were building a droid factory I would use two or three treads. Also, I have a question. Are you going to make droids being assembled there or not? It would get you more votes, I think.

Good, but instead of like, five regular droids, make at least one a prototype or something!

Yeah that would be cool if you had like a seperate conveyor belt that's making droidekas or super battle droids or something like that.

Use the Exo-Force robot arms (Or those from the DSD) as robot construction arms.

If you have the TIE fighter tank (don't know what it's called) you could use the "weels" as a belt because the're long and extendable.

Although that is a good idea, there's not many available or easy to find sets that include that part.

Why not use This set's Treads, LEGO 2009 - 7748 Corporate Alliance Droid. This is the new one coming out, or You could use the old one.(sorry Can't figure out how to post pictures).

Admin - Make sure you have your code correct and no extra tags, and use five or less emoticons, never unneccessarily.

EPIC fail! Um... kyky, that set comes out in AUGUST. He needs the treads in a week Wink , and if he had the old one, he would've just used it in the first place.

Oh! I just got an idea for the arms if you want to use it! You can use the five or six holed technic bars, attach a black connector at the end of one, stick it into another one, and put a black connector on the far side, facing out, and add another connector, and on the far side of that one, you can make a claw design, or you can use a bionicle hand. For the treads...I dont know, i'll find something

There is a Mars Mission set with arms and a bunch of the big black treads that you can stick those little blue pices into that can stand a droid up. However, there is one problem, it might be discontinued. I'll check if it is.

Nope, it's still available. The MT-61 crystal reaper could also use those saw as the arms that take apart droids that don't work.
