The 101st Legion
The 101st Superior Assault Legion
Seen as one of the strangest and unorthodox legions in the GAR, they are different in many ways to other legions "But don't give a sh*t" (General Alec, 1.5ABG, Kamino). Like the infamous 541st Legion, they are too commandeered by a Non-Clone Officer. This was because the first Jedi, Jedi Master "Nark" (Real name unknown) was ambushed by Technological Planetary Alliance (TPA) commandos. Alec, (Second name unknown) stood up for the replacement. 45% of the clones are "Defective, unreliable, and complete failures" (Yad Beca, 1ABG), but Alec told him to "Go die in a hole", saying that "although my boys aren't perfect, they have their uses and deserve a chance, just like anything else with a pulse." (1ABG) This earned the respect of each and every one of his men. Starting off as mere cannon fodder, they quickly earned a fearsome repututaion, using kamikaze-style and shock and awe tactics. However, thanks to Alec's boundless intelligence, he always made sure that they got out alive. They were soon used for more specialised tasks.
Another thing that sets the 101st apart is they are often called upon to use experimental types of trooper, which were quickly accepted into the legion. Because of their highly dangerous tasks, they have the 393th Reserve Battalion unofficially attached to them, separate to the regiments. However, they have only seen action once. Sometimes, on a campaign, a civilian who can fight may join the 101st "Until further notice".
When the Republic fell and the empire rose, all 101st clones were offered retirement. Most of them left, leaving only a company of Alec, Shepard and his more loyal troops. They were inserted into the 501st as the 101st Elite Quick Reponse Company, and were allowed to keep their old colour scheme.
Leaders:
General Alec
"And I've got something to tell you, you long necked p****: Go die in a hole."-Alec, 1ABG.
Born to the owner of a smuggling criminal empire, he was set to go in his footsteps, but his parents were assassinated. After months of grieving, he abandoned his empire, and set out to see the galaxy's crime firsthand. He would wonder round planets, find cruelty or crime, and destroy it. When the Stary Hyperspace War broke out, he served briefy with Stark, but when a base he was in was attacked, he claimed to be a spy, and got inside the republic army. Years of fighting had toned his ability, and he quickly made it to major. When it ended, he went back to his criminal empire, to find it in ruins, his funds destroyed, and a constant power struggle between his family. He abandoned it, and set off to his previous "Job". When the Clone Wars broke out, he rejoined. He was recognized by a Plo Koon, who he had fought with in battle, so he was given a spot on the 101st, after "Nark" was killed. When the Empire rose, he retained control of the 101st when it became the 101st Elite Quick Reponse Comapny. He belongs to the same yellow-skinned near-human species as the 541st's Dimitri.
Nikol Socut
"Damn, I could do this all day!"-Nikol Socut, 2ABG.
Coming from the same species as Alec, he was rescued and recruited during the Liberation of Akolik, the 101st's first mission. At the age of 13, his parents dissapeared, leaving him on the streets (His family were street urchins), and was drawn into the life of crime. He tried despratly to get into The Wildcats, Akolik's most notorious youth gang. It is uknown how to managed to get into the gang, but he said he did so "With plenty of plucking on strings and pickpocketing". By the age of 17, he was one of their best members, but then the CIS invaded, and the gang was scattered. Once again, he found himself living on the streets. When the 101st attacked to liberate the planet, most of gang's former members hid in boxes, but he took a fallen droid's gun and had some fun. He was soon seen by Alec, and fought alongside him. When the battle was won, he was offered a place in the legion, which he accepted. Alec soon became a father figure to him, mostly because of the age difference and the fact they are in the same species. and became his "Blood Brother" after he very reluctantly did a ritual that The Wildcats did. When the Empire rose, he was horrified when he saw what the Republic had became, and joined the rebellion as one of their very first members.
CC-223 "Shepard"
"Looks like it's either charge out and get killed, or charge out and get killed".-Shepard, 2ABG.
This patriotic Clone Commander was the first clone to be entered to have ARC training. Before that, he was given commando training, after he displayed extreme courage, and protected his sergeant under overwhelming odds. He also posses duel personalities: One is kind and protective, the other is ruthless and gruff. Because he hardly has anytime to groom himself, he always has a thuck stubble, a square of beard on his chin, and shabby, "Bedhead" hair.
CT-2739 "Aki"
"Either I riddle you with blaster rounds, or I slide a vibroblade between your ribs. Your call."-Aki, 1ABG
Commander Shepard's right hand man, he is one of the most sadistic clones in the pods, revelling in the pain and misery of others. He respects no one, except for Shepard, his pod brother, and Alec, his CO. He used to be friendly and generally easygoing, but after two months of the war, he was kidnapped by human mercenaries, along with his platoon, and saw so much suffering in the six months he was captured, that something just snapped in his head, somehow overriding what the Kaminoan's had tried to subdue; independence. Afterwards, he was removed from command, and instead placed at Shepard's side, advising him with tactical decisions (Something Shepard would later regret). He is possible it drove him slightly mad, as when he tortures biological creatures, his clones hear him actually gigling as his victims yell and weep. He eventually reliased this, and, fearing being killed by the Kaminoans for this, told Shepard, whom he knew would never report him. He understood (Barely) and has put him on medication. In his spare time in Kamino, he worked out a lot, giving him a huge phyisicue. This allows him to duel wield without a problem, and hold multiple weapons.
Troopers:
101st Infantry-Phase I
The 101st basic footsoldier, they are given extra training by former RC, Phyco.
101st Infantry-Phase II
Same training, same soldiers, but with improved PII armour, and a darker side, after seeing over two years worth of pain and war.
101st Sergeant-Phase I
101st Sergeants are effectively normal clone sergeants, but have the 101st twist. They customise their armour to distinguish themselves, and instantly make themselves reconisable.
101st sergeant-Phase II
Yet again, normal 101st sergeants, but they are also given 101st Kamas, and ammo belts over their right breastplate.
101st Sniper
Dropped into the heat of battle via arial drops, they are accurate and deadly, and no squad leaves without at least 1 sniper covering their position.
101st Engineer
Gruff and no-nonsense, 101st Engineers are responsible for provining infantry support, or fixing vehicles.
101st Recon Troopers
Fully indepentant, they often scout miles ahead of the main task force, gaining infomation about what's coming, or going behind enemy lines.
101st Pilot
Because they are a ground legion, 101st pilots provide close air support, or transport troopers. However, one part of their extended training is to be put into a moc fighter, which is then crashed, which may be rash, but prepares them if it really happens. Because of this, their armour is sometimes scarred, and they wear it as a badge of courage.
fight together at all times. This has earned them the nickname of "The Siameses". When the 101st invades a planet, they are always the first on the planet, and most of the time, the last out. Each team is composed of a skirmisher and a heavy weapon specialist.
101st Enhanced Infantry
These elite troopers were introduced late in the clone wars, and basically porphilled the roles of 101st engineers.
101st MedicsYet again, these troops were introduced late in the Clone Wars. They were trained to peform surgery while under fire, and, becuse of this, were usually paired with a normal trooper.
Regiments:
99th Infantry Regiment
84th Infantry Battalion
383th Infantry Battalion
92nd Support Battalion
108th Breakthrough Battalion
4th Mechanized Regiment
982nd Walker Battalion
162nd Artillery Battalion
19th Heavy Battalion
29th Tank Battalion
45th Specialized Regiment
139th Scout Battalion
784th Marine Battalion
982nd Support Battalion
86th Shadow Battalion
75th Airborne Regiment
57th Transport Battalion
93th Infantry Support Battalion
37th Tactical Strike Battalion
174th Assault Battalion
82nd Fleet
The 101st also have a fleet, that is seperate from the 101st itself. They are responsible for transporting the 101st via hyperspace, providing reinforcements, and providing general support.

Re: The 101st Legion
I like the clones (especially the 40th heavy), is there any vehicles? A lot of our legions use black.

Re: The 101st Legion
It's not paint, its markers. And I can't help it being that. I mean, there is such thing as battle damage.

That's not how you spell 'don't', and you should explain why you don't like them.
