Commander Apollo
Here is a clone commander that I made a while back. He is the leader of my legion, the 12th Elite Legion.
He is the Commander of my Legion. I think he turned out quite nice. He is all handpainted and I didn't use tape, and he was free handed. I think he is my best Clone yet.
And for those of you wondering, I use Timia Acrylic paint. (I never use decals or sharpies)
Please leave a comment and tell me what you think. Thanks.

*cough*
It looks good! The paint is kinda messed up in places though.
Re: Commander Apollo
EPIC FAIL! Read the description.CT44 wrote:It looks pretty good. . .Did you use paint or Sharpie?
It looks OK. I'm more partial to decals and sharpie. Also I hate acrylic paint.
Re: Commander Apollo
It kinda messy but it's great.

Re: Commander Apollo
Thanks man. I am going to go to a craft store now to see if I can find a decal maker for clones, so I wont have to use paint.DarthPineapple wrote:It looks pretty good for hand painted.
Good but.........
It looks cool but you need to change the name because Commander Apollo actually leads the 501st legion.

That's a big fail right there, Commander Appo is a leader of the 501st. Anyway, this is interesting...but nothing too special.

If it's waterslides you want to understand, the answer is waiting in your PM inbox.
Back to the figure: I quite like the helmet, actually. However, the torso looks rather messy. I guess that's why many people use decals or stickers for the torso and, often, use paint for the helmet.
Re: Commander Apollo
Keep using paint for the helmet! Add another layer and touch up on some parts of the helmet, then spray with acrylic sealant.
Just like to refer you to my guide here:

I love the patterns you used. Most people would probably tell you to use decals now, but I'm not, 'cos I'm the exeption who doesn't use decals!
Awesome fig anyhow.
