Mortar
A small mortar I built a while ago, but I was waiting for my BA explosive rounds.

Looks nifty; those 'legs' are well built, and the fact that it can fit the rounds is icing on the cake.

Well my first design had a longer tube, so the rounds could get except for the top, but it was almost as long as the fig itself! WWII mortars were about as big as a kneeling man.

Re: Mortar
I don't know about that; I'd say they were a little longer than the upper leg.
Though if you meant standing up they were as tall as a kneeling man, then yes, I guess so.

Re: Mortar
Hmm... I have no idea why, but it looks like a slightly shorter version of Chandlers! Honestly, though give him credit if you used his design.
Re: Mortar
RUN FOR COVER!!! Oh sorry just my old WWII memories touching the surface of my mind...
Anyways great little moc. I think the mortar itself could be a tiny bit longer but otherwise you nailed it. Oh great use of the BA stuff too.

Re: Mortar
Noooo! I was just waiting for someone to use that design! I had also built a mortar with that design (but mine was longer), and I was trying to get in to the Guild to show it of (and take credit for it all ), but you did it before me .
Phew, glad I let that out . Love the "base plate"!

He could easily fix that by adding a stud in the middle, but that might ruin the "Sleekness".MuffinHobo wrote:could be a tiny bit longer.
Re: Mortar
Looks good DP! Maybe it could be bigger though.

Re: Mortar
Thanks! It is even bigger than it's supposed to be, WWII mortars were about as high as a kneeling man.
Why should I give someone credit when I make my own design?! I don't even know the guy and I have never seen the Mortar you are talking about...

Do you know obxcrew? He's the same guy, but sometimes great minds think alike!
