What do you think of my creation?
Clone CASTER
Clone troopers that had suffered serious injuries beyond full recovery were often reassigned to non-combat posts or euthanised. Many of these troopers would request to return to the field, even though their condition prevented them from doing so. In response to this, a private cybernetics corporation proposed the CMX-400 Cybernetic Armour Suit - heavy robotic armour that could be cybernetically integrated with the damaged bodies of clones. The process was irreversible, but many clones accepted the offer, and quickly found themselves fighting alongside their brothers once again.
Clone CASTERs were equipped with a heavy repeater cannon, a vibro-saw and a jet pack - they were a rare yet impressive site on the battlefield, able to cut through entire battalions of battle droids with ease.

Clone CASTER
Impessive (spelling?) build but you could fix up the arms
Then use a spell checker like the rules tell you to do!

Not bad. Haven't seen this design before, but it looks pretty good! I like how you covered up the mouth of the gunner. Although, I think it has to many colours.
Re: Clone CASTER
Impressive, most impressive. The leg mechanic is what really gets me. It seems really simple, but yet genius when I look at it !
Re: Clone CASTER
Pretty nice, the arm cannon, the chasis, ingenius design, my friend.

Re: Clone CASTER
There's something in warhammer 40k that's almost exactly like that! Don't tell me you didn't base it off that!
It's a cool Moc, just looks a little unposeable, but it looks exactly what it is - a walking tank.

I absolutely love the look! Great Job! It has a nice, solid feel to it.
Unfortunately, I don't think the GAR would do such a thing, that is, clones were just meatbags, a clone, not some elite soldier...

Re: Clone CASTER
Some clones weren't just meatbags. Look at Cody or Rex. They were to valuable to lose. Anyway it's a fantastic MOC. I think it's one of the better hardsuits on here. One flaw with your plan though. They could give them mechanical limbs and there is a thing called a bacta tank. Plus Teeb is semi-right. Clones were made to be disposable.
Re: Clone CASTER
PRetty good Zulu! I like the body a lot and the head, but I am not a big fan of the bottom of the legs. Very well put together though!

It was originally meant to be an exo-suit but I changed the concept after I thought it looked like a big robot with a clone trooper head - I got the idea from the Dragoons from Starcraft.
My line of thought was incredibly disabled clones - clones that required multiple mechanical limbs or required permanent life support to survive, any condition that prevented them from being a soldier again - although bacta didn't cross my mind.
Like with my 762nd Legion, I like to think that there were people out in the Star Wars universe that didn't see them as disposable and gave a darn about them, and actually gave them a second chance whenever they needed one - even though everyone probably didn't.

Re: Clone CASTER
Wow that is pretty nifty. I see lots of hardsuits and they really don't get my attention, but this has to be one of the best ones I've seen so far. Keep up the good work.
Re: Clone CASTER
Awsome! I like the helmet. Also I like the suit.
