Romeo and Juliet

Post by Zepher on Fri May 22, 2009 9:46 pm

After my talk about Romeo and Juliet with Sial, I decided that that's something I'd really like to convert to Lego form. So, I present to you, a few characters from "Romeo and Juliet". During August I will be releasing the whole story. I will update it too modern speech (not wierd rap speech, normal modern speech) and throw in a few twists, but nothing major. I'm looking forward to it!

It will not effect my normal comic production work! 313th will be coming out while it does, as will my daily comic! That's why I want to wait until August, so that I can have it mostly done when I'm ready to release it so it won't cause stress!

Now, the charcters I have so far!

The three main men, Mercutio, Romeo, and Benvolio

Romeo

Benvolio

Mercutio (my favorite figure and character)

Some other important folk: Balthasar (will have a larger part in my version), Tyblat (now scrapped, didn't like him) and Paris

Paris

Balthasar

Friar Lawrence

Enjoy! I've got lots of time before I'm starting photography, so if you want to suggest improvements, please do!

Since I lack Shakespearean and Literary knowledge, I'll depend on your version to tell me the story of Romeo and Juliet. Laughing

Romeo take me somewhere we can be alone
I'll be waiting all there's left to do is run
You'll be the prince and I'll be the princess
It's a love story baby just say yes

God I hate that song! Razz

Anyways....... The figs look okay, I can't tell you if they are accurate because I have never read anything about Romeo and Juliet.

You hate the song yet you can quote it perfectly...

Naw just kidding! Anyway good job on giving a classic a modern update. Just don't ruin it or Sail might kill you.

Nice figs! I think that Mercutio should look less angry and more cheerful; in the movies he's pretty much the guy that jokes around alot.

True, true. Now that I think of it, you're more right than me. My point is just he looks angry with that head. Smile

You know, I don't think they've made a basic blue suit. You can find a dark blue suit via Bruce Wayne, but aside from that, there isn't much else.

They haven't made enough suits in general, in all honesty.

Good thing this is modern talk, because I got dibz on the weird rap. We're making a movie for English, not stop motion, real actors, but rap nonetheless. Now I'm confused. Lego needs more suits.

-This has been another odd message brought to you by a hardcore CIS fan.

And that odd message is a shining example of the miserable gutter American schools are in.
