Jango Fett
My new Helmet and Back-pack as inspired by Arealight.
The boys wanted a Jango EACH so this is what I came up with!!!
This is just the master will be casting soon!
I will not be using the backpack, I will be cutting down a Lego one to get away from the 'Plasticine' look

Re: Jango Fett
Yes its removable! Only on one side!!
Can't wait to show the kids when their all finished, they have been begging forever.
I'm also going to make holes in the back-pack for fire clips, if desired of course!

Re: Jango Fett
The helmet looks nice for a custom, he just needs the markings on his head and maybe some decals on his legs!
Re: Jango Fett
That's really sweet of you to do all that for your kids, my mum isn't really into LEGO or Star Wars!
Very nice Jango too. The helmet looks a little oversized but far more 'canon' than the official lego version! I'm sure they'll be over the moon when they get them.

Re: Jango Fett
Saw it on Flickr! I love that you're attempted to make your own Mandalorian! Good work!
By the way I edited your original post with a deeplink.

Re: Jango Fett
OH MY GOSH! That is a wonderful Jango! I love the gun, helmet, and jetpack! The helmet in the front is a bit to closed. But doesn't Jango have blue on his helmet too? And, can we get a pic of the jetpack? But overall, really good.

Re: Jango Fett
Looks pretty good, except the shapeof the helmet, it looks a little to sloped and big in the front. Still wonderfull job, the holes for the flames sound like a awsome idea too.

Re: Jango Fett
That is sweet luminara! Your doing really well with these! Helmet could be a bit smaller and more color on the helmet but otherwise it is very nice!

You'd think that at first, but in my opinion it resembles a Clone Wars(a.k.a. animated) Jango, which is a nice new way to look at Jango!

Actually what I meant was more like the cartoon Boba, when he appeared animated.

Re: Jango Fett
The helmet looks a little too wide, but I still think you did a really good job on this.
Re: Jango Fett
Very nice but the helmet is kind of big.

Re: Jango Fett
I haven't decaled the helmet as it is the MASTER that I will be casting to make 3 or more for all the kids, I haven't decaled the legs or body as its an official body, I have decaled torsos and got some legs for the boys, but I can't get hold of the right colour arms! They're like gold-dust!
As always its an official cap and worked down from there! It fits perfectly on the head stud, there is no way I can make it less wide as it won't fit!
I agree that the helmet is on the big side, I was thinking more that it was too long, I will be shaving the bottom at the front before duplicating! I don't agree that the front is too closed! Not from the figure I copied from anyhow! Look at TB's signature you see there its not very big,Jango's is just the same, maybe its the angle of the pic?
I will show the back-pack!I know its pants so please don't rub salt in the wounds! I will not be using it as its very Plasticiney looking! I will be however cutting down a Lego version, adding the holes and a rocket and casting that!
Thanks again TB for the pic! I'll get there!

Re: Jango Fett
Yea your helmets always look a bit too big, like action fogure helmets. Anyway it's a bit bulky but nice! Is that gun yours too?

Re: Jango Fett
Though the helmet is big, even just by a few milimeters, I like the rocket being higher than usually seen on the Lego rocketpack molds.

I thought it was Arealight's helm until you said you sculpted it yourself.
Fantastic work as always.

Then again, all helmets for Minifigs are oversized. Compare a clone trooper's helmet to his torso.Weird eh?
Good job on Jango! I like his helmet.
