Squad 7440

Post by Clonecommando007 on Mon Mar 31, 2008 2:18 pm

This is the 7440th Squad of the Grand Army of the Republic. There are eight men in the squad, normal size. The 7440th is a 'Line Squad', otherwise known as a standard infantry squad. This is the symbol for a line squad:

This is the wookieepedia article for squad: http://starwars.wikia.com/wiki/Squad
This is the hierarchy of the 7440th:
7440th Squad
of the 7400th Platoon
of the 7240th Company
of the 69th Tactical Battalion
of the 54th Infantry Regiment
of the 222nd Legion
I will take some time to introduce you to the men in the 7440th. They took these photos in kashyyyk in front of a 4th mechanized division assembly point, while fighting off the occasional droid:

CT-7440: This is the squad Corporal, or the squad Second in Command. He's the best fighter in the squad.

CT-7441: This trooper is a grunt, the standard of our squad. Officers might call him 'Cannon Fodder'.

CT-7442: This trooper is the most annoying soldier, and is gung-ho in battles. He is very brave, and we're afraid he's going to hop into a cannon blast sometime.

CT-7443: Everyone loves CT-7443. Whenever the squad gets leave, 7448 is one for the ladies, and is the strongest in the squad.

CT-7444: 7444 is the strategist of the squad. He knows exactly what to do and when to do it. A brilliant soldier.

CT-7445: This is the jokester of our squad. He's always funny and cheers the squad up all of the time.

CT-7446: 7446 is the most reverent in the squad, always respecting the force and not killing any live creature unless ordered.

CT-7447: This is the squad leader. He is a very multi-task trooper. He is the sergant of the squad, and he wears green arm armour to distinguish him.

Overall shot of the squad:

Another one:

While they were still being trained in Kamino, the 7440th decided that they would be known to other squads as 'Talon' squad.

The 7440th squad belongs to the 7400th Platoon of the grand army of the Republic. (If you didn't know, a Platoon consists of four squads, we work actively with them all).

This will be the 'story squad' of the 222nd legion. Smile

Thanks. All of the 54th infantry have the same color-coded ranks as phase 1 troopers did. Smile

That's a VERY good idea, especially if the bulk of the legion is made up of white-armored troopers. Smile Blue Arc

I like the profiles, but their so....plain. In squad form, each individual has different markings, to tell them apart, and because its mandalorian tradition to customize armor.

Yup, ABL's right. This is a clone trooper squad. (tier 1) Tier 2 encompasses commandos who paint there armor. Need I say any more? Smile

Nice work; I (actually)like how it's so plain and simple, but each character has something different! Kashyyyk

To tell the truth, I only (for the individual shots) photographed three different guys; just in different poses.

Yes, he was clearly trying to save time by instead of taking a pic of every single guy individually, just take three, put the surroundings around them, and just like that you have a personalized Clone Trooper Squad! Smile

Looks nice, although it's not very special. The clones are just too 'standard'.

GAH! I went to Wookieepedia in search of the number of clones in a squad and I see Aurebesh everywhere! Then I click on 'view this page in English' and in the top left section in the logo area I see two AT-ATs... Hola Wow! Er, WHAT THE FREAK IS UP WITH WOOKIEEPEDIA? Shocked

Maybe he did it without consent from the other admins. That would be like me blocking everyone for the day. I think CC would be pissed enough to ban me for a while.

You're pretty darn right I would be^^. Laughing

There is nothing special about this squad at all; just a plain, normal squad in the 54th Infantry.

Exactly! Smile That's what I like about squads like that; they all actually look alike. Whereas in Commando squads or Commando Platoons or Elite clone squads they all look different with different weapons. But this is the kind of thing that reminds you that each clone is an individual, even though he looks the same as the other.

Woah, did I just write all that preachy stuff? Shocked
