It's actually a car paint, dark red, I find it sticks better

Wuzzu you seem to be good at creating some extremely creative and detailed minifigs! I love this galactic marine- especially the leg detail. The only thing I don't really like is the pauldron... it seems a little out of place. Would you be interested in selling one to me perhaps?

The officers would have pauldrons. But normal Marines didn't to my knowledge, I think it looks good with or without. And I wouldn't mind getting one of these myself...
