Upgraded 7141 Naboo Starfighter
In the process of digging hrough my parts ins looking for pieces to build a DP-38 Gunship Dropship (My version of DP's gunship), I came across a lot of yellow and grey pieces, which made me think of the old 7141 Naboo Fighter. We have a LOT of them, and with the release of the new Naboo Fighter, do I just scrap my five older ones? Heck NO! I upgrade them! So I took about two hours coming up with an upgraded (and WAY more accurate) 7141, this is what I ended up with, unfortunatly I only had enough specialized pieces to do one, but now that I have a design I can go to bricklink and know what to get. (when I get money that is...) So here is my upgraded fighter, I think it turned out better than expected, and I even had the droid's head telescope like in the "real" Naboo fghter, enjoy:
And next to an original 7141, for comparison:

Haha nice, but at that same time I want to say ewww My pieces of that set are the same, all used, dirty, and scratched up, look at that cockpit- you can hardly see through it! Lego's new version of the model are WAY better.... at least for a couple of years Astoria it would be interesting if you could place the old model up against the new model. Nice little retrofitting you've got there as well- love the giant R2

Yeah, these were ALL previously owned, and so show it. I'll take some pics when I am able to get the new N-1.

You managed to get the model very good, but it's a little bit too blocky on some places. Add slopes, like in the new set.

I like your front end modifications with the guns. The vote is still out on the back end.

Yeah the back end is tough, the sheer curvy-nis of this fighter is VERY hard to reproduce accuraty in LEGO, the new N-1 solved this problem by eliminating the rear side sloping all together.
