541st Vendetta #14: Zerg
Okay, it's a day late, but my computer wasn't functioning as it should've yesterday, which threw me behind a little. I actually did a little shifting around, as far as plot is concerned, with this installment. Scenes were deleted, premises were changed, scenes were added, so forth. I think it turned out okay. Not GOOD, but okay. Average.
Re: 541st Vendetta #14: Zerg
Brilliant! The story line is going along extremely well and the cliff hanger was very nice touch.

That was great! I loved the charge, and the mishmashed slide showing the battle.

Huh, this one was better than I was expecting from your opening lines. Simple plot, the tactics were conveyed better than usual, and the octuptarra looked really sweet. I'd say you could work on making the dialogue more natural, but other than tha-...

Sweet Jesus, I just understood the title. Holy crap, that's... That's just... Oww, my brain.

I based it off of a term from gaming, Zerging. A Zerg Rush came from an old RTS, where a player spammed a unit called a Zerg and then rushed his foe's base. It's now become a term to signify rushing into a location, dying, respawning, and then rushing back in, in an attempt to win it over.
And Jinja, that has to be the best review I've ever had from you .

The unit wasn't called a Zerg, it was called a Zergling. The race that you played as was Zerg. It's from my favorite game of all time, Starcraft.
I haven't read the comic yet, I wanted to see if you mentioned Starcraft in your opening post, to see if you have played the game.

Guys, Jinja is just making stuff up.
I liked this one quite a lot Sial. It was a fight, but a better one than usual, and it's nice to see the story really going somewhere, at least this fight could lead to more story. Though I hope Ied uses that sword at least a little bit more after the deal that Turkai made out of it.

Re: 541st Vendetta #14: Zerg
Better than I was hoping for! The GIMPing for the swords and the electrostaffs was well done.
Re: 541st Vendetta #14: Zerg
Excellent as always, arming your regular footsoldiers and Armored Elite (Whatever they're called) with ElectroStaffs/Poles and Vibroswords was quite unusual, but pulled off well. Special effects are always good, plot is developing.

This was great, not ok, but great. It had a wonderful ending, with a nice suspense, and a flowing storyline. Great job, can't wait for the next one.

Re: 541st Vendetta #14: Zerg
Doesn't ANYONE get the reference in this comic? Does Cemetery Ridge(I think) ring a bell to you? When Joshua Lawrence Chamberlain's troops ran out of ammo after 4 waves of Southern troops charging up the ridge, he ordered them to fix bayonets and charge the enemy. You know I'm right Sial .

That you are! Finally, someone who knows their American History ! And it was Little Round Top , but just the fact that you referenced Gettysburg made my day.
Re: 541st Vendetta #14: Zerg
Yeah I was thinking its was Little Round Top, but it was a 50-50 guess. And as to History, that's my middle name.

Re: 541st Vendetta #14: Zerg
Hey - we have the same middle name ! It's currently competing with my love of my language as far as academic subject matter is concerned.
