I decided to try my own version of Squirrel's 'X'. Just some brushes and Filters, took me maybe 15 minutes.

Staff: I acknowledge this is a double post but because 24 hours has passed it's not breaking the rules.

This needed a good BUMP, so I thought I'd give it to you guys.

A battery made in GIMP, similar to that of Apple's.

Well, I've been trying to get a pic up, but it won't let me put it on since it's in ".xcf" format. Roll Eyes
Can somebody please help me change this to a JPEG?

By the way, I am using GIMP.

When you open the saving window, type in the name of the document (Untitled) and put it like this: Untitled.jpg
It auto-saves as .xcf, so typing in .jpg is the easiest way to do it.

It's not difficult. You erase the picture except for the fig. Use the scale tool to blow it up, and the tone down the opacity.

Well, here's a major bump, but I'd figured I'd share.

The wonders of GIMP:

Each figure was from a separate picture, and I took these in the summer, in my "noobier" days. Wink

Using that same technique, I made a signature that Mil requested via Brick Central. I think it turned out good, what do you think?

I sat down and messed with GIMP for the first time today. I'm not very good at it, but at least it was fun.
