HOB Stick (the good one)

Post by 80-0 on Wed Aug 19, 2009 3:01 am

Just so people know I redid this, I'm posting this in a new topic. Moments ago I realized thanks to DonSolo that what I made looked more like a Sonic Screwdriver. Laughing

Anyhow, in the interest of... common interest, I made the real HOB stick. Unfortunately since I rushed it, the redoux does not come with the bonus of a suit coat, but the blue hand is there, and the stick is accurate.

Since Flickr has the hiccups (or so they claim), I can't deeplink any of these 'cos it won't let me open the image, and I must thus resort to posting this somber link to my photostream on Flickr. Whenever, or if ever, Flickr decides to take ten sips of water, I'll deeplink the images, but until then, tough. Razz

Give us a reference picture. Then we can know how good it is, becuase on it's on it looks like a black box with trans pieces coming out of it.

Looked on google, but couldn't find one. As Zeph said, would you mind getting one?

I told myself the same thing when I saw this reference pic, but as you can see by the pic of the prop separate itself, it is indeed accurate.

Looking at the reference... very accurate. I would suggest though buying light trans. blue 1x1 cylinders... I know a few sets have them.

And get on mibbit (CABG). Wink

All it needs is some GIMPing. If any GIMPer with time on their hands would like to give it a shot, I'd be quite a happy camper. Wink

Mibbit away.

EDIT: Oh wait I forgot. I'm still banned.

It looks fairly good. Maybe make the box alittle more interesting, but other than that, it's very simple, but that's how the real prop is.

I'd've thought the interestingness of the inside of the prop would make up for the mundaneness of the outside. Razz
