STuG III Empty STuG III

Post by PhiMa Wed Aug 19, 2009 4:33 pm

I've Finished, Or at least, this is as far as I'll be going right now. I know the tracks aren't right and it isn't long enough, but I've run out of poles for wheels. I had fun building this, but It'll probably be one of the last WWII creations for a bit, I'm going to try making a comic next.

The Back:

I know there are still flaws like mixed grey and incorrect length, but that'll get fixed over time. Comments and C&C are appreciated!

So that's the Stubby Stug? Razz

It's a nice design and all, aside from the obvious fact that it needs to be longer. I'd really love to have seen this through, but it's all up to you of course.

Wow, this is awesome! I've never seen one of these so I don't really care if it's accurate or not. I really have no complaints about it.

Great job.

Like you've said yourself, it isn't long enough. Design is cool though.

Fix the length and it'll be much better, but you got the design mostly right. Wink

I think it's splendidly done, perfectly, greebled (loving the back, and rear bumper), with some brilliantly executed features (the hatches win, even if they aren't positioned properly)....

HOWEVER

(and it's a big however)

...it's too darn short Razz .

Wow, this turned out better than I expected! Just a tad longer(Razz ) and it would look better. Other than that very well done!

80-0: Yeah, I think I'll BL some more wheels and poles and bley plates to lengthen this correctly. I'm also disappointed.

JJ: Thanks!

DP: Thanks again!

Pizzah: Yeah, It still annoys me that I didn't have enough poles.

Sial: Why thank you, and yeah, I know now.

Gerrard: Thanks!

Thanks for the comments so far!

I almost threw up when I saw that. Although it may not look like a STuG, it's pretty good...well sort of, y'know. But if it wasn't supposed to be a STuG, I would like it. Although, my main thing is that it is too short.

This is a really nice looking tank. For sure. The straight color scheme is nice, and the seeming absence of wheels actually looks nice on this tank. Good work!

RogueJedi: Please, build a better one, or, make some sense. I don't quite understand what you're trying to say...

CC: Thanks! I actually worked on it yesterday, lengthened it, and...added more wheels Razz

I looked at my comment and realized it did not make sense. What I meant to say is it's just to short. But you did make it pretty acurate. Sorry my comment didn't make sense. Keep up the good work!

Looking sweet, but still needs to be a little longer, 2 studs or so.

That's why we have an edit button. Razz

@ PhiMa: It still looks a little stubby, but it's accurate as far as the armoring is concerned.
