Kill over France 3894895851_fb63e9ec8d

An ME-109 is shot down over southern France as the Allies push forward into Germany.

My whole inspiration for this MOC comes from that sticker on the wing of the 109. I saw it and thought it'd make a perfect wing sticker, and since it only comes in one direction, I had the plane get shot down, which eventually led to this.

Comments welcome!

BTW, this is for the Micro Military contest on Flickr.

It's supposed to be small, dumbass Razz .

Now then, the wing technique on the fighter is actually fairly interesting. The rest of the MOC is your standard mini-scale build, with a few interestingly designed (barrels, hmm?) trees.

I'd try to improve the landscape a little, but the plane itself is fantastic! The one tree look a little big compared though...

People. That's how you make people in micro scale. Wink

I made this at 1:30 in the morning, so I'll see if I can improve it.

I'm going to go all history on yo butt now.

The Luftwaffe unfortunately by the end of the war when the Allies were on the move wasn't used much, it was almost destroyed by then. A lot of it had been committed to the Eastern front too.

Overall, I quite like it Pd, Smile its just that I thought that you should add some more trees to the side of the road. Oh, and a few buildings too. (A small bunker maybe) Wink

Good. One question, the plane only has one wing, I think I can see the other on the ground, but I'm not sure if thats the wing or not. Shocked

No, it's BF-109! Messerschmitt started out in another factory, one with the initials BF, so all their planes from there are BF designated, until they got their own factory, that's when they got the Me-designation.

Sorry, just being a history nerd. Nice MOC, by the way.
