The Project: "Patrolling"

Post by PhiMa on Sat Sep 26, 2009 8:59 pm

The purpose of this so-called project originated on the CABG. Us 5 WWII builders got together and decided to make 24x24 vignettes of one specific theme, at this time Bocage/hedgerow fighting. I picked this name, because this Jeep was patrolling the area and then unexpectedlly were ambushed.

I believe this is soome of my best work. I absolutely love the tree, and believe the figure positioning is great.

Overall shot

The wrecked jeep, after being hit by a potato masher. The driver has flown through the windshield, now dead.

My favourite part of this MOC. I just feel like this has turned out great, seeing as I've had troubles with LEGO trees in the past.

Check my Flickr Photostream for more pictures

Also, for your pleasure, the figures and the Jeep:

Enjoy. This is probably some of my best work yet.

I must say that I like the tree. I've actually been having trouble with trees myself. Overall, a very nice creation.

Absolutely fantastic! The abundance of plants makes this MOC really great, but the entire diorama is pure win! Great job!

This is so full of awesomeness. The sheer scale and amunt of plants really make it epic. Very cool vignette!

This thing is so cool! The use of many green parts is what makes me love this thing. Green is good.
Even though it looks awesome, shouldn't the Jeep have doors? Overall, it's a great vignette.

Very nice, the figs are positioned well, and you use the plant peices nicely, especially on the tree. Well done! Smile

CFaie: Yeah, but we should still see if CT44 and Pizza are working on one...

MilitiaMoose: Thanks! And no, the willys jeep did not have doors. Probably cheaper and easier to get out.

667th: Thanks! Yeah, I may have overdone it this time ^^
