Commader shadow and..
I got happy with the paint again.
This one is heavily based off tekka croe's commander croe.
Y/N? Does the mud look real? Is it too much? Stuff I could improve on? Photos are links

To be straight with you, I think it looks terrible. The mud really is overdoing things.

The figures are great, but like Axel said...the mud is overdoing it. Unless they're in combat on a muddy planet...their uniform is sparkling.
Re: Commader shadow and..
AH, yes, they're supposed to be fighting on a ww1 style (mud wise) Planet.
I'm glad you like the figures. Oh commander shadow is supposed to have been driving something and drove it through a puddle and that's why there's mud all up his side. Sorry. I failed at saying that.

I disagree with the others on the overuse of mud. If they are fighting on an entrenched rainy world, I can definantly see tons of mud on the armor, and it is not too overused on these troopers. Good job.

I think the mud looks good, but it might be too much.Either way it's fine.

Sweet, Thanks, CC007's post pretty much describes what I meant.

I don't exactly see how the mud can get all the way up to the helmet.
Otherwise they're all great. It's great how you designed the first two's helmets. I would find it difficult to get the visor to be completely white while making the rest of the helmet black.

Oh, the mud getting to the helmet, is simply the mud splashing up, or a projectile landing close, making a splash.
The CLone with the blue on him, that's just a regular clone trooper, modifyed. However, shadow commander, That helmet is a Wuzzupbob defect, that I smoothed out, spary painted black, then went over with model paint, again, in black, then I just free hand painte the vizor on with white paint, in like 3 layers.

Very nice, I have always liked mud on troopers, except I am afraid that I will get tired of it and be to lazy to erease it. Their armor is totally jabiim... sweet stuff.

A huge spoonful of skill and a whole lot of brown paint.
