Tundra Scout (purist)

Post by CloneCommandoXion on Sun Oct 25, 2009 11:39 pm

At some point I will decal one of these guys and adjust the helmet but this is what I have for an idea right now. He can't be a tundra scout until I complete him with decals but what do you guys think of him just in purist form? Heres a little vignette of him in a forest/jungle.

So what do you guys think of the fig? Or the display. Wink

The vignette itself is very good. The fig though, it looks like just a Kashyyyk Trooper with different colored arms, legs, and helmet to me. Maybe others will have different opinions though. Wink Smile

The vig is nice, but the troop's body and helmet don't go well together.

Did you not read the discription? The figure isn't complete. It will be decalled, the colors will be changed and the helmet will be painted.

This isn't really what it's going to look like, I might make the camo white and all the rest dark gray or decal it with snow camo and have white shoulders and helmet.

If it is a tundra scout, why is it in a forest. Doesn't tundra mean a sort of snowy area?

The vig is nice though.

Since it's still just a normal scout and I haven't actually turned it into a tundra scout this is where he will remain. Razz

The legs and the arms are the same color.

Ever heard of grey?

No, I meant that the Kashyyyk trooper had green arms and the legs had a decal on it but Xion's is just plain grey. Wink Smile

The reason I picked grey is I thought it looked quite nice, and with the snow camo decalling I'm going to add to it eventually will look great! Smile

Meh I am glad this a wip looks good so far but the helmet is out of place you should do a blotchy green/grey camo paint job maybe with two shades of green like the chest. Paint the helmet light gray then add random spots of diffrent shades of green but leave some gray. Smile Pilot

Uggghhh. Everyone is looking at the picture and not the description. I said I would paint the helmet dark gray to match and give him snow camo decals. Wink
