Mantis-Class Barracuda Vic Viper

The Mantis-Class Barracuda was developed by an alien Terran race. Fusing machine and nature, the organic/mech fighter capitalizes upon synergy and energy efficiency. Energy orbs stretch from the rear of the fighter, up the two forward prongs and can release deadly plasma shock waves upon firing.

It's Novvember! Woo- I finally finished! Spending basically the whole month building this baby, I've disregarded homework, and run into problems numerous times. The main one being the inverted cockpit. I was going for an inverted cockpit because a. it seems more necessary/helpful for space warfare b. no one has done it yet... I think. I was also going for an organic, futuristic, and fish-like appearance. I was strongly influenced by the Mantis race in Conquest Frontier Wars en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Conquest_Frontier_Wars, as well as a picture I took of a jellyfish: www.flickr.com/photos/brophyphotoclub/3939132362/

I love the cockpit and that ladder. My favourie picture has to be the birds eye view, I love all those slopes at the back.

I must say, not that I'm so happy about bandwagons, but this one is probably one of the most creative VVs I've seen this month. Which is good, because that's what we want.
