Sparrowhawk Starfighter
An incredibly fast and maneuverable starfighter, the Sparrowhawk is equipped with twin rotary guns and three small boosters.
This build was an experiment into building with SNOT, and finding a good way to use the cockpit piece. The grilled tiles might be replaced with colour tiles later on.
Yes, it fits a figure, but...
...the figure doesn't actually sit on a stud. Nevertheless, it's a snug fit and the figure won't move much even if you swoosh the starfighter around.
Notice the detailed underside. This was achieved due to the SNOT techniques I used.
Thanks for looking!

D*nmit! I just build a starfighter that looks very simpilar to this... 'oh: Guss I'll have to post it sooner next time.
Anyway, fantastic build I like the SNOT and the greebling on the bottom is very nice. I also love the cockpit design. Nice job!

Very nice. The SNOT is great, and the cockpit is awesome. Overall epic win.

Sweet build Axel. Love the cockpit design and how the mini figure fits in.

This also looks a lot like my Cargo Ship, not necessarily the same look, but a lot of the same techniques.

Not really. Looking at your cargo ship, there's a alot of exposed studs, and the SNOT work is limited to the sides. The majority of your build is stacked on top of each other.
The Sparrowhawk is almost all SNOT work, with very little studs showing. And it's a very modular build. I'll post a picture to show what I mean.

I thought this was Tac's at first, but then I saw it was Axel.
Still nice work. I like the shape of it.

Thanks alot guys...I think.
It does look rather like Tac's work, doesn't it? Let's see if he has anything to say about it.
