Hoth
I finished a moc that I'd like to get some feedback on!
Hoth.
Yes, the pictures are pixelated a lot. I have a wacky photo process that I'm trying to work out. Anyway!
You can check out my mocpages of it here (Which I suggest you do because the pictures look a bit better there).
And you can check out my brickshelf gallery here. It was my first time doing photoshop too, so tell me what you think. (Not the one above!)
Thanks!

Re: Hoth
The fire's cool, but the rest is just sets on some white steps IMO.
Try and make the base more snow-like and less dull.

Re: Hoth
Wow sets on white. Really!? I don't remember voting on this application.
Edit:
Ah I looked at your gallery, you had better stuff then this. CC007 must have jus given you Guildship. Yeah we're rough on the new guys.

Re: Hoth
Meh its ok but I'd put a couple more figs or more vehicles on it, but I like the fried rebel.

Re: Hoth
Eh, kind of bland. Not really sure how you could change that though, without a complete rebuild. Try making the ground a little more uneven.

Yeah a dozen more minifigures and few lumps in the snow would go a long ways.

Cool! Thanks for the input! My b-day's in March and I'm asking for the battle packs.

See this.
Why not link to the actual webpage rather than upload Brickplumber's pics to your mocpages?

Re: Hoth
Brickplumbers pictures were what pushed me over the edge and made me want to get ALOT better at MOCs and building. I drooled over his work for weeks!
That being said, I think that even if you leave it flat the best way to finish up this MOC is to add the tiles that add that flatness to it. I would use the same technique seen in brickplumbers pics. Also I personally would add some transparency tiles or plates around the file to simulate melting snow.
It needs alot of minifigs for a battle of that size.
So you can still salvage the MOC. I love white tiles!

Darn this pesky cross breezes!
You've got a good base set up but as Tac and Rook said, this is only half of an MOC! If you get one or two of each of the battle packs and set up the figures around the scene, it'll be much better; and maybe, in response to Zeph's point, add some texture to the snowdrifts.

Well...If you remember Episode 5, there was a big storm right before the battle basically, and big storms have...wind! Wind carries the snow up the hills creating a smooth like thingy.
Thanks for all the input guys! There will be a V2 coming soon!
I am also learning how to photoshop better too!

Yeah, I guess you're right. I'll have to work on that
Re: Hoth
Meh. The fire is good, but there should be more texture to the snow.
