Re: Thunder-blade WIP
I love the "helmet", though I feel you could do more... without having to use an actual head as part of the helmet.
Re: Thunder-blade WIP
It's kinda late, since I've had the head/helmet attached together since I was like 11
Re: Thunder-blade WIP
Your back! I absolutly love it, the hemet and face are excellent and very detailed. The arm are extremly detailed as well. I really can't wait to see the finished version!
Good luck!

Redundancy much?

Re: Thunder-blade WIP
Loving this WIP. Helmet reminds me of Megaman.
Good to see you around, clone.
EDIT: Are those arms Sharpied? Or did you use a decal?

Re: Thunder-blade WIP
Bleh, I hate it when people over-detail their minifigs and think it actually looks good...
Sorry, it looks too Mega-Blokish to me.

Re: Thunder-blade WIP
Ah, so you see it as too much detail. I'll admit, it doesn't look like something LEGO would make, but I like it.
Re: Thunder-blade WIP
Yea, don't get me wrong, the detail is ASTOUNDING! It's much better than I would do.

Re: Thunder-blade WIP
I see, so you just don't like the style of my fig.
Makes sense. Each to his own I guess.

RE. Thunder Sharpie WIP
I love it Thunder. The detail of the sharpie is mind blowing.Sharpie is hard to work with and everything about this WIP is perfect. Can't wait to see the end result.

*googles "megaman"*
What? You've never heard of Megaman? He's like, the coolest blue dude around!
Anyway, he's just an old-ish videogame character from Nintendo, but lately he hasn't been around.
He's been on the original Nintendo system, the Gameboy, the Gameboy color, the Gameboy Advance, and the DS.
Never seen this guy here?
Sheesh, am I the only Megaman fan on this forum?
Re: Thunder-blade WIP
I used to play Megaman on the Gameboy. Don't forget the entire collection game on the GameCube.
Back on topic, I love the sharpie on the arms, can't wait for the finished product.

Re: Thunder-blade WIP
Actully Mega Man 9 came out on the wiiware not too long ago.
Now for on topic. That is quite a nice fig TP, and the sharpy is superb! But are you using a stencil? Or is you hand just SUPER steady? I mean I could never any thing like that without messing up. Anyhow, nice job.

You know TB, I hate you! It's not fair! Why are you so good at Sharpie!? (Yells bad words and throws a bunch of sharpies at screen)
Sorry about that. It's a really good minifig. That's thee best sharpie detail I (and a lot of other people) have ever seen!
Good job!
No harsh feelings.

Harsh feelings? Why would I harbor any for someone using obvious sarcasm?
And Brandon, my hand is super-steady.

Re: Thunder-blade WIP
I love the helmet, but you'd better remove the white in those back torso and leg decals.

Re: Thunder-blade WIP
Nah, when it's printed out you can't see it at all. Plus, I use clear decals, so the white would be silver..
Re: Thunder-blade WIP
I agree with darth You should remove some white
